Navisworks (known for a while as JetStream) is a 3D design review package


for Microsoft Windows.

Uses:
 Used for review
 4D simulation
 Clash detection
 etc.

Navisworks Native File Format
NWD

 Will consolidate all of the merged or appended models


 Bind them into one large file.
 Includes redlines, tags, and mark-ups. Equivalent to DWF or PD

NWC:

 NWC are cache files


 They'll even be written directly from bourgeois utilities in product
like AutoCAD design and Revit.
Navisworks Native File Format

NWF :

 NWF are files easy reference a set of alternative files and don't contain 3D
pure mathematics.
 Hence, they're comparatively tiny and to look at these files, a user should
have access to the first supply information.

An IFC file is needed for open the file in Navisworks
