Assessment 01. Write a short essay about the role of media in Globalization.

Media is defined as a collective communication outlet or set of tools that are accountable of
delivering desired information and data. New digital media can turn out to be the source of traditional
communication processes. It plays a pivotal role in channelizing the ways in which communication
means are adopted and used. Media effects are found to be immeasurable because they tend to
influence the messages and mediums both. Development in media due to technological advancement
has influenced the way people interact and relate with each other’s.

The use of media is a great opportunity for globalization to get room for advancement. The
media is expandable it could reach countries outside the region easily. Example, media leads to
increasing interaction of people, states or countries specifically via growing international flow of money
and fundsIn addition, thus, globalization will make process that could lead to development of entire
world system because it facilitates the interchanging processes among systems and societies.

Also, the mass media today are seen as playing a key role in enhancing globalization, and
facilitating cultural exchange and multiple flows of information and images between countries through
international news broadcasts, television programming, new technologies, film, and music. Example,
broadcasters here in our country documents people of culture that are not known by most of our
countrymen. With the use of media, it gives opportunity for people like them to introduce their culture
and help them to improve their lives even. Intdroducing themselves to the world would make them to
catch up to the advancement of our world they were deprived once.
