Uriel Consulting helps organizations and their boards govern and manage their

organisation–wide business, technology, financial and regulatory risks and compliance on a


sustained basis.

Our team is comprised of professionals with a broad range of management consulting skills
in the areas of Risk and Compliance, Governance. These professionals perform assessments,
remediation, implementation and integration of end–to–end solutions in these three areas.
They also deliver advisory services focused on risk and governance to management and
senior executives.

The services/solutions we provide include:

 Governance Services help boards/audit committees/executive management address the


expanding expectations relating to their oversight /manangement responsibilities. We
provide a range of services to help clients with their corporate governance issues,
including board practice benchmarking, board and committee performance
assessments, and board development programs on topics such as risk oversight,
governance implementation, and executive compensation.
 Enterprise Risk Management Services help organizations integrate risk management into
their business and strategic processes to enable them to take risks to create value as
well as respond to and mitigate risks appropriately. We provide a range of services to
help clients with their risk management issues, including identification and prioritization
of enterprise–wide risks, assessment of an organization's risk capabilities, and
development of the tools, processes and organizational structures needed to build a
robust and sustainable risk management program.
 Regulatory & Compliance Services focus on helping clients address regulatory
requirements pertinent to their business activities and strategic objectives in an effective
and cost–efficient manner. We provide a wide array of services to clients in regulated
industries who proactively seek to promote compliance standards, educate their
workforce, and detect potential violations. We also assist clients in addressing identified
compliance issues, interacting with regulatory authorities, and responding to inquiries,
and other regulatory actions.

We would like to hear from independent consultants with an interest in project work,
seeking to broaden their career horizon and opportunities working with management to
executive level in largely the public sector. Relevant qualifications are listed below:

· BCom/BA/BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Law, Information Technology, or


Computer Science related field required
·CA, CIA, Project Management certifications are a plus

· 1–3 years (for consultants) and 3–5 years (for senior consultants) of experience in
Public/Private Sector

· Prior public accounting or consulting experience is a plus

· Proficiency in MS office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Strong technical and organization skills

· Analytical skills and detail–oriented

· Team–oriented

· Ability and willingness to travel

Desirable technical competencies:

· IT infrastructure and operations management skills

· Experience in conducting IT Project risk reviews and independent verification and


validation

· Information governance, data classification, access definition and data protection


skills

· Knowledge of relevant IT standards and norms (e.g., ISO27001, ISO 17799, ITIL,
COBIT)

Desirable business competencies:

· Competency and experience in the areas of risk management, business and


operational processes, internal auditing, financial reporting and other internal
controls, and regulatory compliance.

· Experience in assessing, analyzing, and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of


governance, financial and operational control processes, and preparation of
recommendations to improve operations, and assist clients with enterprise risk and
compliance activities.

· Experience on assessing data quality, data governance, data migration and data
analytics
Responsibilities include:

The candidate will be expected to assist in the delivery of projects at our clients as well as
assist with the sales process and internal and external eminence events. Responsibilities
could involve:

· Provide engagement or task management and select appropriate methodologies

· Play substantive role in attaining quality internal and external communication


deliverables including technical content of reports, proposals, etc.

· Demonstrate high level of understanding of client's business

· Demonstrate strong knowledge industry or functional specialty

· Participate in sales and proposal development efforts

· Participate and assist in training efforts
