HM - Tricia Jen
BS Hospitality Management
To ensure that graduates are globally competitive, the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality
Management program under the E. T. Yuchengco College of Business provides a well-balanced
education in the areas of business, management and life skills necessary for graduates to qualify
for hospitality-related jobs, or to put up and manage their own business.

HM - Ralph
BS Hospitality Management emphasizes technical proficiency, strong communication skills,
management know-how, organizational and interpersonal skills, and business capability.

HM - Jude
A 900-hour industry immersion enhances the students’ understanding and appreciation of
the industry and their skills proficiency. Using outcomes-based teaching and learning methods,
the program prepares students for entry level, supervisory and management trainee positions in
hotels, restaurants, catering and events operations, and cruise ships, among others.

TM - Mariane
BS Tourism Management
The Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management program is committed to equip
students with competencies that are needed to execute operational tasks and management
functions in the field of tourism and hospitality industry. The curriculum focuses on student-
centered activities to provide the necessary competencies in tourism planning and product
development through sustainable tourism practices, events planning, transportation services, and
travel and tour operations.

TM - Mers
The program covers a broad range of topics related to the travel experience, and to the
linkages between tourism as an industry and the impacts it has on communities and places
toward business development. Graduates are prepared to engage in life-long learning that fosters
creative and critical thinking, as well as effective communication to carry out tourism and
hospitality career responsibilities.

With a total of over 150 members, MCL’s Hospitality and Tourism Enthusiastic Leaders
Society (HOTELS) is the current and active organization of Hospitality and Tourism students at
MCL. HOTELS provide a platform that would help transform students into globally competitive
professionals by providing student centered activities connected to hospitality and tourism
education.

TOURISM MAE - HOTELS also supports its members in developing leadership and
organizational skills that will eventually help them in their career.

By becoming involved in HOTELS, students show commitment to their chosen career
that will lead them to meet interesting peers and industry professionals who can potentially help
them along their chosen career path.

HOTELS is affiliated with COHREP’s Tourism and Hospitality (THE) Young Leaders
Student Organization and a partner of the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the
Philippines (COHREP) in achieving excellence in hospitality and tourism education in the
