CLASS ACTIVITY(SHRM)

When it comes to fast food manager,the employees which are mainly


part timers needs to be more skilled so we need to have selective
recruitment.Their are several students as well so those students will look
for incentives as they might be hostelite so we need to pay incentives to
keep them motivated.In fast food firms we cant give ownership to part
timers as it would be risky for the firm itself.Students can perform better
in self managed teams because age fellows will collaborate better and
will have good understanding between them.Symbolic Egalitarianism
will also play its part as their would be no discrimination in hiring
employees.Their will be equality among part timers.Promotion form
Can come in fast food chains as employees can be promoted for their
good work and word of mouth from the customers.

Now when we talk about law practice firms,wage compression will play
its part as their will be more knowledgeable people in such firms so they
will look for equal level of wages and they want to be rewarded equally
for their work.Decision making is key in law making firms and
participation and empowerment would come in this scenario,employees
needs to give their opinion and take part in decision of the
organization.Law firms should focus more on training and skill
development as results are required at a higher level.Employee
ownership can be given in law firms and employees can have their
shares and could show their worth.In Law firms employees should have
knowledge about all positions and fields and we can rotate employees
from different positions to get them more information so cross
utilization and cross training takes part in law firms.We need to define
clear structures and be more specific when it comes to information
sharing in law firms
