Difference Between Analogue, Digital, and Power Electronics

The document discusses the differences between analog electronics, digital electronics, and power electronics. Analog electronics works with continuous variable signals using low voltage/current, and deals with amplification and signal transmission. Digital electronics works with discrete digital signals using extremely low voltage/current and focuses on switching, analyzing, and processing signals. Power electronics works with high voltage/current AC, DC, and digital power and controls power conversion/inversion. It deals with controlling and rectifying electrical power for systems.

Power Electronics
Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Electrical, Electronics, Power Electronics

Hey, in this article we are going to discuss the difference between Analogue, Digital, and Power
Electronics. Although those all are related to electronics engineering there is a big difference
between them.

Before going to understand the difference, let's look at a glance at the difference between
electrical and electronics,
Electrical engineering deals with electrical power generation, transmission, and conversion with
high voltage and high current whereas Electronics engineering mainly deals with electrical
power control, rectification, amplification with low voltage and low current.
