DISCUSSION
Water quality data were used to determine the water quality status in clean, slightly polluted, and
polluted category. The classification based on Interim National Water Quality Standards
(INWQS) starts with class I until class V with water quality index (WQI) more than 92.7 for
Class I, from 76.5 until 92.7 for Class II, from 51.9 until 76.5 for Class III, from 31.0 until 51.9
for Class IV and Class V is less than 31.0. From the result obtained in the chapter 4, the water is
55.02 classified as Class III that suitable for Water Supply III or Fishery III. Wastewater from
Tasek G3 is qualified as polluted because 55.02 is within the range of 0 until 59. Water Supply
