The Transformation Process

Every organization transforms inputs into outputs through a transformation process. The quality of inputs and outputs are monitored through feedback mechanisms. Random disturbances from external factors can hamper the transformation process. Figures 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5 show the transformation processes for an MBA institution, restaurant, and refrigerator manufacturer respectively - all with inputs, transformation processes, outputs, and feedback.
