ONE CHANCE

SYNOPSIS OF THE FILM

LOGLINE

CHARACTERS

LOCATION/SETTING

The film is going to be shot on various locations around the university of Lagos campus. The

location manager is currently researching for and obtaining necessary permission from the

authorities on campus.

SCRIPT

A solid script is in intensive research for the film. It is being written to meet Industry standard of

1 page per minute of the film.

PROPOSED CREW MEMBERS

1. Script writer
Our screen writer has been commissioned to produce a written blueprint used to create

the film called done chance.

2. Producer

The team leader in charge of managing the film production from start to finish. He/she is in

charge of the creative process, makes sure the script is finalized, arranges finance and manages

the production crew

3. Director: Primarily responsible for overseeing the shooting and putting the film together. At

the center of the production, the creative visionary. He/she links up with all other technicians to

get the job done. Works out camera angles lighting etc.

4. D.O.P also known as director of photography. In charge the actual video shooting with

instructions from the director. He captures the script on video. The DOP pays a lot of attention to

the lights and the cameras technical abilities

5. GAFFER/ BEST BOY GRIP/ KEY GRIP: the team in charge of electricity and lighting

6. VIDEO EDITOR: after the productions has ended it, all the video pieces would be put

together to give out a certain quality to the film. The editor is going to put together all our shots

into one continuous sequence. The choices of which footages to use and where to place they

have a serious effect on the final appearance of the production.


7. SOUND EDITOR: the technician who is in charge of getting a final mix to attach to the

video. Our sound editor chooses and arranges sounds in the correct sequence. Multiple sounds

are combined into one or more channels adding drama. Fixing uncomplete or technically inferior

sounds. In the process, a source’s volume level, frequency content, dynamics, adding sound

tracks, and panoramic position are manipulated or enhanced.

8. COSTUME DESIGNER; takes care of wardrobe for clothing to suit particular time, place

and environment for the actors.

9 SET DESIGNER; Responsible for production settings, gives a creative treatment to buildings,

interior, landscapes and interior suitable for shooting particular scenes for the production of the

film. He’ll acquire props, decorate sets.

Other crew members to be employed are the music supervisors, production assistants, welfare,

logistics crew, PR, props manager, floor manager, Production Manager Make-up artiste, and

others.

FUNDING

The cast and crew are funding the production of this film.

BUDGET

Equipment including the camera, Microphones, lights (Fluorescent lights, Tungsten HMI lights,

LED lights, Fresnel’s lights) etc. would cost #XX
