POST WEBINAR-TRAININGS REPORT

The main project is entitled Project G.L.O.W.I.N.N.Er (Gender and Life-Optimal: Webinars for
Women in the New Normal Era), as a GAD Activity and in accordance to the Presidential Decree 227 ser.
1998 or the observance of the Month of March as Women’s Role in History Month and Republic Act No.
6949 Series of 1990 declares March 8 of every year as National Women’s Day.
The first activity among the webinars for women bears the title GADvocacy Talk on the Magna
Carta of Woman with the theme, “Women Inspiring Women in COVID-19 World” and it was conducted on
March 15, 2021 (1:00-3:00PM). The speakers are both licensed Guidance Counselors: Mrs LORITA
MENDOZA- CALAUNAN RGC, RPm and Mrs. ROSALIE M. RIVERA RGC Guidance Counselor III. All
ACNTS teachers of Junior and Senior High School were highly encouraged to attend the seminar. The
seminar was attended by 104 participants. Mrs. Lorita Mendoza-Calaunan shared tips and insights about
the topic” Empowering Women During the Pandemic”, while Mrs. Rosalie Rivera explained the topic
“Uplifting Women through the Magna Carat of Women.” The highlight of the session was the question-and-
answer part and the tribute to all ACNTS women through a video presentation. An evaluation tool was used
to determine the effectivity or impact of the said webinar.
On the second GAD activity, Mr. Patrick Academia , Head Teacher III of the MAPEH Department,
organized a virtual zumba activity hosted by Mam Jennifer Catulong, Teacher I. It was participated by 98
participants via Google Meet (okx-oykx-qdt). One of the highlights of the said virtual activity is the
informative trivia regarding the benefits of Zumba in promoting health and wellness, which was the topic of
the sharing of Mr. Remniel Maghuyop. The participants were able to join the virtual Zumba dance exercises
with the aid of the downloaded Zumba routines by renowned Filipino Zumba instructors, Madelle Paltu-ob
and Florian Enriquez,  It was a very interactive session because all participants really enjoyed the Zumba
dance in the comfort of their homes and with their family members.
The third Project G.L.O.W.I.N.N.Er activity was the webinar on Financial Sustainability Program
entitled “Mind Your Business”. It was an initial attempt to encourage teachers to start their small businesses
based on their interests and hobbies. The first resource speaker is Mrs. Priscilla S. Oro, an established
business woman (C0-Owner and Plant Manager of Midori Natural Cosmetics Corporation and licensed
Yoga instructor based in Angeles City. She shared her experiences focusing on the topic “Business Amidst
Pandemic”. Using an evaluation tool, I asked the participant to evaluate their whole experience regarding
the webinar which was conducted. Thus, the over-all assessment of the participants for the webinar was
very good.

The webinars conducted were very informative at the same time very timely because of the
current pandemic situation, which pose various challenges to all teachers; male and female alike.
To culminate the Women’s Month celebration, the proponent initiated a Photo and Tiktok
Challenge contest, wherein all Learning Area Department (including the Senior High School Department)
submitted official entries based on the contest mechanics posted on the ACNTS Herald Facebook Page.
From March 15 to 19, all Departments were able to submit entries for Photo Contests (Selfie and Groupie)
while from March 22 to 26, entries for Tiktok Challenge, featuring teachers dancing to the tune of Rico!
Rico! were submitted. Indeed, there were talented teachers and school administrators who appreciated
this activity because these are avenues of expression and ways to overcome anxieties and stress. The
deliberation of the winners was held on March 30, 2021 with the help of the panel of judges. For the Photo
Contests, the judges were Rodel De Ocera, Denize Amorsolo, and Edwin Roque (from Singapore). The
panel of judges for the Tiktok Challenge was composed of Mr. Marvin A. Pasion (from FG Nepo), Ms.
Sheila Gonzales and Mr. Lance Christian Tan (owner of Albero Furniture). The announcement of winners
was held on March 30, 2021 via video presentation. All winning groups will receive certificates and e-load.
A sponsor-judge even gave a gift for the winners of Best Selfie and Best Groupie.
The entire experience of Project G.L.O.W.I.N.N.ER for the month of March was a success as
indicated in the evaluation of all the activities conducted.
