mengalami miskonsepsi Public Notice
 Most students have missconception about
the different of caution and warning.
Caution can be a warning too. They still
confuse about the content of caution.
Caution consists prohibtion in it.
 The teachers in my school said that there
is misconception about how to give better
understanding to the students about the
aim/purpose of each kind of public notice
to the students, especially about caution,
prohibition, and warning.

Learning Activity 2
Poster and banner
 The students have dificulty to
differenciate the aim/purpose between
poster and banner because they said that
poster and banner have the main purpose
to give information.
 The teachers have misconception about
the language features of poster and
banner. It seems quite same. The aim of
poster and banner is also same. Some
banners are used to advertising or naming
of college or university. Some banners are
also used as a media to promote a
product. It is same with poster which also
has aim to promote something.

For the students and teachers, it is quite difficult
to differenciate between the definition and social

example, the definition of graphic organizer is to
help teachers show and explain relationships

relate to other areas. It is also same with the
social function of graphic organizer itself.

Learning Activity 4
Sometime, the teachers have misconception
about the example of all types of infographics.
They look the same but have a little difference.
