Reflection in Module 1
Reflection in Module 1
specifically in Module 1, I realized that despite the spread of COVID-19 in our country, the Department of
Education must continue in educating learners guaranteeing their safety and well-being. Hence, DepED
formulated the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan to materialize the continuation of quality education
for all learners. Embodied in the LCP are the three learning delivery modalities like Distance Learning,
Blended Learning, and Homeschooling. With this, teachers and school leaders are given the task to
effectively use any of the three learning modalities appropriate in the community. I also realized that all
teachers must be engaged in collaborative learning sessions in order to solve shared challenges
encountered in the school, as well as to improve their teaching-learning process and to foster their
professional collaborative spirits.
Furthermore, as we go along with the session, I learned that teachers really play many important
roles in the lives of the diverse learners and the community as a whole. Teachers must still become role
models in motivating and encouraging every single person in order to spread positivity, hope, and love
despite the pandemic. I also learned that teachers must not stop learning, and must continue to develop
and grow professionally in order to become effective and efficient in facilitating learning for all.
