There are no structures and facilities in the sports industry that support sports

education and training with varieties in quality of allowing people to learn their experiences

and transformation of healthy lifestyles. The developed of the Queens Futsal Arena is to

facilitate production of indoor sports facility that is convenient and provides training and

education to interested individuals. The industry integrates opportunities that offer clients

sport management services. The equipment available offers young and old individuals a

range of meeting their needs. Futsal is played on a hard court with a smaller size as compared

to a football pitch; this is because there are fewer players involved at a time as compared to

football. The objectives of the futsal are to build a facility membership of more than 500

individuals. The business aims at registering twenty adult and fifteen youth teams by the end

of the first year of operation to acquire competitive advantage and fulfill the needs of the

participants. Futsal is a popular sport, which both adults and young individuals participate.

The number of players are growing dramatically in the past decade because of popularity of

the sport and the advantages in constitutes. The key risks will be viable options for clubs,

and transformation of healthy lifestyles. In recent times, the indoor sports facility

management has acquired popularity in comparison to other leisure sector industries because

of its convenience. The shift to games is because of people’s preference to their schedule and

the positive effects such as the individuals will not be affected with harsh weather conditions.

The indoor sports business industry requires creation of a sport complex with loads of sports

that allow people to participate in the activities. The number of Americans taking part in

sporting activities has greatly increased which is an opportunity for keeping physical fitness

and getting mental relaxation after long hours of official duties (Biddle, Mutrie and Gorely

23). The sporting industry therefore aims at considering trends of the society in improvement

of their well-being as well as having fun.

The sports complex aims at providing education and training for people as Futsal is a

soccer game involving two teams that consist of five players (Hermans and Engler 3). There

have been several developments in the industry to help take care of the rising demand by the

population. It is worth considering that the trends have been shifting to the indoor games that

favor the players regarding time and weather. Indoor games can be played during the day or

night and, as stated earlier, is not affected by hot sun or rains. For this reason, it is fit to come

up with Queens Futsal Arena where players can come in and play Futsal anytime they feel

like at favorable fees charged either on a daily, weekly or monthly basis depending on the

clients.

center management will involve a hierarchy of individuals in leadership to facilitate proper

its location. The company is located in a traffic free region making it possible for

accessibility for people from different regions. The management is designed to provide

efficient operations and bringing the value of fitness and wellbeing of customers.

Futsal is played on a hard court with a smaller size as compared to a football pitch;

this is because there are fewer players involved at a time as compared to football. Just like

football, Futsal has a goalkeeper and uses a Futsal ball. Futsal began in Brazil and Uruguay,

and it has since gained a lot of popularity in many countries. The game has been recognized

by the Federation International Football Association (FIFA) and is played across the world

(Sturgess 8). Of importance to note is that FIFA gave it the given name. The name is a

combination of two Spanish words: “Sala” and “Futbol,” which means “hall” and “football”

respectively. Futsal is played in a 40 by 20 meters artificial turf carpets.

There exist several parks for recreation in Queens, but unfortunately, only a few of

these parks have soccer fields to meet the demand of the soccer fans. The local clubs around

for their training use many of the existing parks. This has made it quite hard for the game

lovers to have an opportunity to take part in the games. As to make it worse, these soccer

fields seem to be of no use during the rainy season and during winter, which makes games

such as Futsal gain more popularity. Through the opening of the Futsal Arena, the gap

between the gamers who have not been able to get playing time in the parks shall have been

closed and with no worries about the season or weather conditions. Everyone is inclined to

have the satisfaction of enjoying the game whenever necessary. The court will have a

relatively higher intensity movement as compared to a full 11-a-side game as players can

enjoy number of touches on the ball.

Business Goals

For every business, there has to be some competition. It is important to find ways of

developing strategies that keep the business at the top of the competition (Myler 14). The

main competitors for the Futsal Arena will be the Kinetic Sports Club, Sonic Soccer and

Westchester Futsal. These businesses enjoy dominance as they have already stayed in the

industry for a long time. Kinetic Sports Club have grown their business through marketing

and have been able to gain a lot of popularity. The Futsal Arena will be able to provide more

services as compared to the three existing businesses. The café will be able to keep the fans

and the players at the Arena at all times with the best of services beating all its competitors.

The objectives of the futsal are to build a facility membership of more than 500

individuals. The business aims at registering twenty adult and fifteen youth teams by the end

of the first year of operation. Developing a facility that has increased potential of renting for

special events to maximize on earnings is another objective of the business. The business

additionally has a mission of provision of a facility that will enable individuals enjoy and

participate in futsal at their time. An indoor sports facility that is well equipped with artificial

grass and lighting poles will provide individuals to play both in the evening and at night. As a

result, the value-added facilities will enable in creation of an atmosphere of engineering a

greener environment, improvement of people’s lifestyle and use of eco-friendly facilities

therefore aiming at a sustainable environment.

Wendy, 6). The popularity of the game led to opening of several centers with an increased

number of participants. For instance, futsal in United States commenced in 1981, which

influenced 100 countries more and more than 12 million players in participation of the sport.

Futsal has experienced an immense growth rate, which has led to its recognition in the

Olympics. The projected growth rate of the futsal sport is 36 % annually (Launder and

Wendy, 76). The major customer groups within the industry are youths and adults as well as

children under the age of 12.

The target market will be children between the age of 3 and 12, youths and adults

between the ages of 12 to 40 in the allocated area. The individuals are to be part of a middle

class family because of affordability and accessibility but it will not be limited selectively in

terms of financial capability. The selected individuals are manageable, as taking too many

target markets will create management issues that may cause failure of successfulness of the

industry. The target market analysis will involve acquisition of the number of individuals

who will willingly participate in the sport and have the ability self-propagate. The extent of

The team will also consist of individual with extensive background information in futsal. The

team will also have an individual with heavy background in real estate along with some

financial history. Lastly, the structure will be composed of a person in communications and

marketing. Under the management team, necessary skills will be utilized effectively for

operation of the organization.

CEO

An individual will be selected in running of the business who as experience with

futsal. The CEO will have had played in a national team and has been a member of the

national futsal team. The CEO’s experience will aid in understanding what is required for

successfulness of the business. Additionally, the CEO selected will have knowledge and

skills in international marketing and entrepreneurship, as this will aid in evaluation of the

target market. The background skills, knowledge and experience of the CEO will provide the

presence of utilization of sale materials that will improve the image of the business-to-

business customers. As a result, the awareness of futsal will be improved through the CEO as

the individual will ensure that the vision, mission and goals of the business are attained.

The COO to be selected will also have experience in futsal and a participant in national futsal

team events. The individual will also be a member of futsal or soccer team for the past three

years. The COO will ensure that there is proper management of the coaching stuff for the

sports camp. The COO will also provide assistance in marketing and merchandising divisions

of the teams.

required. Since the business is a start-up, property general management and building

construction will be considered. Real estate management in the business is essential for

takings and canteen operations at regular home grounds. The sustainability of the teams

requires hiring grounds and sharing the revenue will lead to inaccessibility by the individuals.

Direct competition with other centers is another risk. The business services targeted a highly

populated region and therefore this leads to reduced accessibility of grounds, nearby regional

receptionist. The game takes some time, and the fans will need something to keep them

some drinks (only soft drinks), snacks and meals. The cafes will be equipped with a projector

to allow the players to enjoy the view of live soccer games. There will be an annual

membership fee of $40, and the rest of the rental fees as per the table below:
