We are very pleased in submitting this quotation for a Sodium Sulphate plant which can
produce industrial grade sodium sulphate 10,000tons/year, industrial grade Hydrochloric
Acid 31% 16,000tons/year.

1. Scope of Delivery
Process equipment, electric equipment, control and instrumentation, and engineering
& know-how.
For detail please refer to Appendix A

2. Capacity
The said plant based on working 24 hours per day, 330working days per year, the
working time calculated as 8000hours per year.

3. Delivery Time
150 (ONE HUNDRED FIFTY) days since reception of down-payment.

4. Price
The total Contract value is FOB China in USD1,299,800.00
(Please see Appendix A)

5. Validity of the Offer


The offer is valid 3 months since the date to be offered.

We are fully open to discuss all matters if required. If there is any problem please do not

APPENDIX B TECHINICAL DESCRIPTION

I: Product application field

(1) The Sodium sulphate can be widely used in the synthesis detergent, glass, fiber,
paper , textile etc industries.

(2) The by-product Hydrochloric acid can be used in many chemicals production and
many fields raw materials, such as PAC (Poly Aluminium Chloride), White Carbon
black, calcium chloride, foodstuff, Rare metal Hydrometallurgy etc fields.

(3)This processing plant besides to produce sodium sulphate, it also can be used to
produce Potassium Sulphate, which is a kind of Potassium fertilizer.

In Sodium sulfate producing process by Mannheim method, the produced Hydrochloric

Power supply: The factory should be installed with power transformer,
the load according 300KW, For the production continuously running, the
factory should prepare a 200KW Diesel oil power generator in case of
public power off.

Remark:

The impurities contained in the process water will also be found in the HCl-acid.
If this shall be avoided the process water specification should not be higher
than this. Otherwise the water has to be treated before (e.g. in a reverse
osmosis plant).

VI. Process Technical Proposal

A. Process Flow

(1)Production theory

NaCl(≥97%)and H2SO( to be continuously discharged into Mannheim furnace
in proportion, then reaction to generate sodium sulphate. The main reaction as follows:
2NaCl+H2SO4 Na2SO4+2HCl↑ - Q
In fact, the reaction taken place in 2 steps:
NaCl+ H2SO4 NaHSO4+HCl↑ + Q(1)
NaHSO4+NaCl Na2SO4+2HCl↑ - Q(2)
第一步反应是放热反应,可在较低温度下进行,首先生成 NaHSO4,第二步反应是强吸
热反应,只有在 500--600℃反应才能进行得较完全,反应所需要的热量是由煤气发生炉产生
的混合煤气在炉内燃烧室燃烧提供的,燃烧室温度维持在 1200℃左右。

The first step is exothermic reaction, it can reaction in low temperature, firstly to generate
NaHSO4, the second step is intensively endothermic reaction, the reaction only at the
temperature of 500--600℃can be proceed completely. The energy for reaction is from
the mixed coal gas burning in burning chamber of the furnace, the coal gas is generate
from the coal gas generator. The temperature of burning chamber should be maintained
around 1200℃.

【工艺流程】
氯化钠和浓硫酸从曼海炉顶中央料道连续加至炉内封闭的反应室,在高温下用耙子搅拌
进行反应,反应物被耙子推着从反应室中心向周边移动,反应生成的硫酸钠不断从反应室侧

面两个出口排出炉外,高温硫酸钠经冷却后,通过皮带运输机至筛分、破碎,在输送过程中,
加入纯碱用于中和硫酸钠中的游离酸,筛下的成品送入成品料仓包装出售。从反应室排出的
400℃氯化氢气体经石墨冷却器冷却除尘,使反应气温度降至 50℃;进入二级填料塔净化除
去反应气中 SO42-,同时从二级填料塔可得到 HCl 含量为 36—37%的含 SO42-的盐酸,部分
送至石墨冷却器,部分销售;从二级填料塔出来的反应气,进入一级降膜吸收塔,用来自四
级填料吸收塔的低浓度盐酸吸收可得 HCl 含量为 31%的工业盐酸;一级降膜吸收塔出来的气
体经四级填料吸收塔处理后达标排放。

(2)Production process
Sodium chloride (NaCl) and concentrated sulphuric acid (H2SO4) continuous feeding
into the closed reaction chamber from Mannheim furnace top center material channel, to
reaction in high temperature with rake continuously agitating, the feeding material moved
from the chamber center to surrounding by the rake agitating. The product sodium
sulphate continuous discharge from the chamber side two outlet, the high temperature
sodium sulphate to be cooled and then transfer by the belt conveyor for sieving and
crushing. During belt conveying, adding sodium carbonate to neutralize the free acid in the
sodium sulphate, the sieved finished product transfer to the product silo for packing. The
400℃HCL gas from the reaction chamber firstly go through graphite cooler to cooling and
de-dusting, to make the gas decline to 50℃; then flow into the 2nd grade filled tower to
purify and detach SO42- in the gas, meanwhile 36~37% hydrochloric acid contains SO4 2-
can get from the 2nd filled tower, partly to be sent to graphite cooler, and partly for sale. The
gas from 2nd filled tower, flow into the 1st falling film absorption tower, to use the low
concentration Hydrochloric acid from the 4th filled tower to absorb and get the 31%
industrial Hydrochloric acid; the gas from the 1st falling film absorption tower absorbed by
the 4th filled tower and then up to standard for vent.

工艺冷却用水用于冷却高温硫酸钠和高温反应气以及移走吸收过程中产生的热量,这些
用于冷却形成的高温水,送往冷却塔冷却后,再返回到各个冷却工序,整个过程水闭路循环。
Process cooling water to be used for cooling high temperature sodium sulfate,gas
from the furnace and the heat generated during the absorption process. The cooling water
then return back to the cooling water tower and re-cooled for recycling cooling use.

工艺吸收用水从尾气吸收塔顶进入,逆流吸附尾气中的氯化氢,形成低浓度盐酸,再进
入各个降膜吸收塔,循环进行吸收过程,至形成 HCl 含量为 31%的工业盐酸,送往盐酸储罐。
Process absorption water come in from absorption tower top, counter-flow absorb
hydrogen chloride in the tail gas, to form low concentration hydrochloric acid, then flow into
each falling film absorption tower, re-cycling for absorption work, to form HCL content to be
31% industrial hydrochloric acid, then pumped into hydrochloric acid storage tank.

反应所需的热源来自于煤气发生炉产生的混合煤气,混合煤气在炉内燃烧室充分燃烧
后,形成的高温气体环绕封闭的反应室流动,间接供给反应所需的热量,气体抽出炉外后,
经热交换回收余热,尾气经烟囱排入空中。

The reaction heat resource is mix gas from the coal gas generator, the mix gas burned
completely in the furnace burning chamber, to form the high temperature air and flow
around the closed reaction chamber, indirectly supply caloric for the reaction, the air
suctioned from furnace,Recycle the residue caloric by the heat exchange, the exhaust air
vent to air via funnel.

The energy for reaction is from the coal gas burning in the chamber, the coal gas to be
generate by coal gas furnace, the high temperature gas to be flow in the ring tunnel of the
closed chamber, for indirect supply the heat for reaction., then the air withdrawal out of the
furnace, and by heat exchanger to recycle heat, the tail gas vent by chimney.

C. Processing Units:

Sodium Sulphate production unit mainly to be made up of raw material supply equipment,
Mannheim furnace, fuel supply equipment, Sodium Sulphate discharge, conveying,
Hydrochloric Acid absorption, cooling water recirculation equipment, environment protection
absorption, electric and instrument equipment etc.

VIII. Battery Limits

NaCl-supply: salt inlet opening of the bucket elevator

Natural gas supply: from burners
Neutralization Agents: silos are provided by us. The transportation of the chemicals into
the silos are not included in our delivery scope
Cooling water Supply: from the cooling water tower, no include the circulating water pool.
Process water Supply: from intake of the towers
Waste air from HCl-Absorption: out of the stack
Waste gas from the reactor: out of the stack.
Product Na2SO4: to the auto-packager
Product HCl: to the HCl-acid pumps.
Electrical equipment: from MCC-supply

IX. Factory
The plant to be mainly made up of Sodium Sulphate production workshop, storage
warehouse, HCl gas absorption system, Hydrochloric acid storage tanks, sulfuric acid
storage tank, re-circulating water pump room, re-circulating water pool, acid pump room
etc.
Considering office building, logistic Roads and green land, Whole factory Floor area
need 3000~5000m2.
Sodium Sulphate workshop to be concrete with steel frame structure, according
process, the workshop totally to be 4 floors, size to be LXWxH=30mX19mx12m
(Partially to be 16m) workshop.
