TECHNOLOGY PLAN AND INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT SYSTEM

BOOKKEEPING NC III
JOURNALIZE TRANSACTIONS
“Prepare Chart of Accounts”

A. TECHNOLOGY PLAN
I. COURSE DESIGN
a. Nominal Duration 72 Hours
b. Trainee Requirements  At least high school graduate
 Physically and mentally fit
 Preferably with laptop/desktop or any gadget that can be use in
offline/online eLearning
 Preferably with internet connection use for online activities.
 Can perform basic mathematical computation
c. Trainer Requirements  be a holder of Bookkeeping NC III or a Certified Public Accountant
 a graduate of B.S. Accounting or its equivalent
 have completed Training Methodology III or its equivalent
 be able to communicate effectively both orally and in written form
 have at least three (3) years’ experience in the industry as a
 bookkeeper
 possess good moral character
d. Monitoring and Grading Built-in LMS tracking system such as log reports, activity reports, and
System gradebook shall be used to track the trainees’ attendance and progress in
learning. The activity completion tracker shall be allowed to monitor the
participants’ own progress.
e. Institutional Assessment The following assessment methods shall be used for assessing the competency of
System/Assessment Method participants:

 Computer based Examination – This is composed of multiple


choice, true or false and identification exam given online. The
computer-based exam shall only be opened after finishing all the
lesson and quizzes on this unit of competency for the institutional
assessment. A trainee should be able to get at least 80% of the
correct answers to pass the test.

 Performance/Demonstration with Interview – This is composed of an


activity to perform by a trainee by using a downloadable Demonstration
with Checklist and a rating Sheet. The trainee must be able to perform
the activity, record it and send the video to the LMS or trainers account
and/or perform directly by face-to-face method with your trainer.

f. Training Plan/Schedule The training shall run for 10 days. A more detailed breakdown of schedules,
which include deadline of accomplishing the learning activities and assessment,
shall be indicated in the study guide which will be uploaded to the LMS to serve
as further guidance to ensure completion of the program.
II. TRAINING PACKAGE The eLearning material is a package consists of lessons thru the use of audio,
video and text material, a computer-based quiz, interactive video, task sheets
with performance criteria checklist. The institutional competency assessment is
composed of computer-based exam on the LMS and a Demonstration with
checklist and rating sheet that shall be submitted to Trainer.

B. INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT SYSTEM


I. THE LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
a. The TESDA Online Program Learning Management System (LMS) shall be utilized as
the training platform which can be accessed at www.e-tesda.gov.ph.
b. Type of connection: MOODLE v. 3.8, Cloud Server
c. Course Overview
This eLearning deals with the knowledge, skills, behavior and motivations required to
plan and develop proposals and bids for the staging of meetings and events. Depending
on the context, this role could be performed by a wide range of individuals including
event managers, local or regional tourism managers, venue managers and marketing
managers.

d. Help Features (Technical Support System)


The following technical supports are provided on the LMS and Training Advisories:
 Features of the LMS Platform Procedures on how to enroll Procedures on how
to login
 Procedures on how to send Message
 Technical Support Groups using Facebook Messenger (group chat)

e. Enrollment System
Students shall be manually enrolled to the LMS and shall be provided with their
respective user credentials.

f. Monitoring System for Learner’s Progress


The following built-in LMS monitoring tools shall be used in monitoring learners’
progress:
 Activity Completion
 Participation Report
 Course Completion Report

The following monitoring tools shall be used in face-to face session in monitoring
learner’s progress:
 Progress Chart
 Achievement Chart
 Learner’s Record Book
g. Learner Support System
Online mentors/trainers shall be online to respond to participants’ queries from
8:00AM to 5:00PM on the scheduled date for doing online activities through the
following mechanism:

Learners can also be communicating with their co-learners through the following

Trainers in the face-to-face mode shall respond to any inquiries/questions of learners in their
activities whether online or offline activities. Give feedback to learners and give advises to them.

i. Learning Materials
The following learning materials shall be used in the training:
Interactive learning materials with brain exercises. The eLearning materials were
bundled by learning outcome. The eLearning materials have the following parts:
1. Learning Objectives
2. Learning Contents/Topic Content
3. Interactive Learning Activities
4. Task Sheets with Performance Criteria Checklist

Task Sheets and Performance Criteria Checklists are downloadable from the eLearning materials so
that the task sheets maybe done offline.

Computer based exams – self scoring computer based brain exercises and quizzes serve as practice
exercises for participants. They are made available per learning outcome.

Submission Bins –uploading interfaces for particular outputs (e.g. rating sheet/performance criteria
checklist) are provided on the LMS. The participants shall upload their results for trainer evaluation
and download the comments and suggestions of the online mentor through this interface. A
notification email is sent by the LMS both to the participant and the online mentor in case of
submission to these interfaces.

Discussion Forum is where participants can communicate with other participants. This component of
the LMS is not a live discussion area but all enrolled participants will be able to see all posts and
replies. This component will encourage discussion of the topics being learned.

Video Conferencing will also be done using the google meet. Google meets will be recorded for
participants who failed to participate in the discussions.
