SAILING
WHAT IS IT?
Like culture and art, recreation, leisure and sports activities play an important role in communities. Their
many benefits include improving the health and well-being of individuals, contributing to the
empowerment of individuals, and promoting the development of inclusive communities. Recreation, leisure
and sports activities may involve individuals, small groups, teams or whole communities and are relevant to
people of all different ages, abilities and levels of skill. The types of recreation, leisure and sports activities
people participate in vary greatly depending on local context, and tend to reflect the social systems and
cultural values.
Participation in recreation, leisure and sports activities may be one of the few opportunities people with
disabilities have to engage in community life beyond their immediate families.
WHTS MORE
In our family, we do various recreational activities. Here are some of the recreational
activities that we usually do during everybody's free time.
1. Swimming
2. Playing board games
3. Jogging/exercise
4. Reading books
5. Playing sports (badminton/basketball)
I believe that doing recreational activities and at the same time spending time with your
family is a really good habit not only for the health of the family members but also for the
bond that each family member can develop for each member of the family. The more the
family is bonded the stronger the family will become. A strong family is very important
knowing that adversities are always there
1. Development of aquatic skills - Every individual needs to develop and hone their
skills. Those individuals who are into the development of their aquatic skills will
be the ones who will benefit from these aquatic recreational activities. On the
other hand, those who just want to have an exciting recreational activity will also
benefit.
2. For a healthy lifestyle - Aquatic activities are really good for someone's health.
Thus, if there is are aquatic recreational facilities, members of the community
will be able to constantly do aquatic activities beneficial to achieving a perfect
healthy lifestyle.
3. Opens up opportunities - Aquatic recreational facilities open up job
opportunities for local people or for the members of the community.
WHAAT I CN DO

ACTIVITY 2
1. I have! It was a school camping trip. We did activities to socialize, make us more
energetic, and have fun. We sleep late because we have to go to ceremonies and do
chores, and we wake up early so that we can eat breakfast and take a shower. Some of us
joined contests for our skills and intelligence.
2. I made few friends after that, we bonded a lot of times after the camping and get to
know more about our lives. I didn't know them much as first and didn't expected that I'd
be friends with them. A lot of us wasn't awkward on our second camping and I gained
confidence too because I know a lot of them now, and we're all so close
ACT.3
Last year me and my family were camping in the mountain's and we set up our tent it took us
half an hour and we collect firewood and cook some barbecue together and after we ate dinner
we were stargazing and we compete who can find a constellation and tell the name of it, it was
really fun and we were suddenly surprise our dark surroundings suddenly lit up and they were
fireflies the scene was so mesmerizing, it's like I was on a fantasy world and this was the best
camping trip that i have with my family last year
Each has his or her own reason to go camping or to be drawn to the outdoors. I like to
break it down into three main categories: Fun, Adventure, and Sentimentality.
FUN.
Fun is something that we are familiar with and want to experience again. Perhaps we’ve
fallen in love with cooking over a fire, or with a Dutch oven. It could be the opportunity
to retest our survival skills. Spend uninterrupted time with family and friends without an
hour-by-hour itinerary. It’s fun and can help us unwind from the stresses of life.
ADVENTURE.
Adventure is learning or doing something new. It can be camping itself, star gazing, day
hiking, swimming in a lake, whitewater rafting, archery, zip lining or, any of a thousand
outdoor activities.
SENTIMENTALITY.
Sentimentality consists of very personal experiences that speak to the soul. Camping
provides opportunities to experience nature on a personal level if we will take time to
pause, watch, and listen. Do you remember your first time really seeing the stars on a
clear night and feeling the grandeur of the universe? For some people, these experiences
are necessary for their own peace of mind and well-being to recharge. Camping alone
may even give us a deeper appreciation and understanding for what we have at home.
