RADWIN OSS Account User Manual
OSS Overview
RADWIN OSS provides a set of cloud base tools that support all operational aspects of the network
lifecycle, addressing everything from radio planning, network deployment, unit installations, service
commissioning and network management and maintenance.
OSS Highlights
WINPlan is a Network Radio planning tool for SUB 6 and TVWS networks.
WINDeploy is a deployment management tool that helps to manage efficiently the mass
deployment of subscriber units.
WINManage is a Network Management System that enables to manage and monitor online network
devices.
To use the OSS tools, you need to register to RADWIN OSS and create an OSS company account.
• Use only your company domain and not any free email account, such as gmail, yahoo,
etc.
• Registration is opened to only one user per company
o This user will be defined as an admin and will have the permission to add more
users from your company to this account
o If your company already has an OSS account, you will get a notification message
• Fill in the registration form, confirm being the only one account admin in your company
and press on Create Account button
• The system will verify your email address to sign you in to RADWIN Web Services
6. Go back to the OSS Tools page and press the Login to your OSS account button.
8. After your password is confirmed, you can login into your new Account and have access to
the OSS as an Admin.
You can add additional users to your company OSS account and define their role. Users and roles
management is done via account settings.
1. On the OSS welcome page, click the Account Users Settings button
2. The Account Users window will be opened. To add a new user role or update the existing
roles, click the Roles button.
• Role name
• Role description
• User management permissions:
o Defines who can view, create, delete and edit Roles and who can view, create,
delete and edit users
• WINPlan permissions:
o Defines who can view, create, edit and run Actions on WINPlan
• WINDeploy & WINTouch permissions:
o Defines who can view, create, edit and run actions on WINDeploy and WINTouch
4. After finishing defining all the user role parameters, press the Save button.
1. To add a new user, press the Users button and then Add User.
2. Fill the details of the new user, define his role and click Save.
• Note that email address of the new user must belong to your account's mail domain
• You will get a message “User was added successfully”. Click Ok to close the window
• Once added, the new user will receive an e-mail with his username and password. When
the user will login to the OSS account for the first time, he will be asked to change his
password
• After login to the OSS account, the user can access to the OSS applications or account
setting according to his permissions
Every page of your OSS account has a Feedback button on the right side of the screen. The Feedback
enables you to contact the RADWIN’s team.
If you encounter a problem, you can “Open Support Case”, describe your problem and in the label
tab select your region and RADWIN support team will contact you.
