shellac: from an insect (lac, sapsucker dig into branches, vulnerable. Coat w/ excess epicuticle, fuzzy!) we cut off twig, dries
bug dies. pulverize and boil, centrifuge, ethanol and alcohol, extract organics, centrifuge, get alcohol soluble layer with
waxes rom cuticle. Shellac = alcohol extract of the epicuticle, waxes. Polishing lines up molecules, shiny.
