REPORTING RELATIONS: Reports to the Human Resource Manager BASIC FUNCTION: A Human Resource Assistant is a certified professional who handles an organization’s daily administrative and HR duties. They assist HR managers with recruitment, record maintenance, and payroll processing and provide clerical support to all employees. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support all external and internal HR related inquiries or request. Maintain calendars of the HR management team. Maintain digital and electronic records of employees. Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts. Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation. Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, and maintain agendas. Coordinate training sessions and seminars. Perform orientations and update records of new staff. Produce and submit reports on general HR activity. Process payroll and resolve any payroll errors. Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews. Effective HR administration and people management skills.
