Script For UN Day New
Script For UN Day New
Kaye: To begin with our program, let us welcome our dear pupils in their entrance parade with their
respective country and costume!
Kaye: Before we witness with today’s program, let us all rise for the invocation to be followed by the singing
of the national anthem
I. Welcoming remarks
Algie: We are gathered here today to celebrate United Nation’s Day with a theme, “Protecting Civilians,
Protecting Peace”
To welcome each and everyone who are with us today, may I call on the energetic adviser of the grade 1
pupils, Tchr. Margie J. Tagamolila in behalf of our beloved school principal Mrs. Jean J. Abaring.
Thank you so much Tchr. Margie.
Kaye: With all these costumes and preparations, let us ask ourselves: what do we really know about United
Nations?
The UN was established after World War II with the aim of preventing future wars, succeeding the
ineffective League of Nations. Its purpose was to promote peace and cooperation around the world. Today the
United Nations is an organization made up of 193 countries, almost every nation in the world! The event was
to be observed by all member countries. United Nations Day continues to be celebrated globally, as part of
United Nations Week.
Algie: As we all know, United Nations is composed of several countries and we are lucky today to see those
countries being portrayed by our dear pupils.
And now, ladies and gentlemen the moment we have been waiting for. The moment we have been
anticipating for this day – the Parade of the Nations with their respective country to be followed by
their presentation
Wow! We really do have beautiful and handsome students here, don’t we? Again let’s give them a
round of applause.
Kaye: At this juncture, let’s have the dance presentation of each grade level in their respective attire.
Kaye: When we talk about UN, the things that come to our mind include peace, love, and unity. Those
themes are portrayed to songs which are then connected back to UN.
To dance with the song “It’s a Small World”, may I call on the nursery pupils!
Thank you for that wonderful dance, nursery! Indeed, we live in a small world after all so we have to show
love and respect to one another to maintain a peaceful and harmonious relationship.
b. Pre - Kindergarten
Algie: We always say that children are our hope. Hope is a very important word. We need hope to succeed in
everything we do and to achieve our dreams.
Kaye: To dance with the song “Top of the World”, let’s give it up to the Kindergarten pupils.
Now that was an amazing performance. It’s true that we can found love around us, and that love will
put us on top of the world.
d. Elementary
Algie: And now to perform “We Are the World,” may I call on the elementary pupils.
Good job, elementary pupils! Indeed, you are the one who make the day brighter, so from now on start
from giving and it’s true that you’ll make a better day.
V. Awarding Ceremony
Kaye: And now, this is the moment for those who strive hard in doing their best during the contest that we
had the other day.
May I request Mr./Ms. ____________ to come up the stage to do the honor in giving the awards to our
handsome and beautiful winners.
Kaye: While our pupils are having their presentation, the judges have picked some awardee/s in the minor
awards. Now, who is your bet?
We have the minor award, the Best in _________________ Well, come up to the stage
_________________________(Name of the winner).
Algie: Indeed, people may come from different nations but the important things is to be educated so we
would know and we would be aware of the differences the different nations have. Through this, we shall
maintain a peaceful and harmonious relationship with each other.
Now that we have come to the end of this momentous event, may I request our dearest school
administrator, Pastor Ghie D. Dulay for the closing remarks and for the closing prayer
This is Tchr. Kaye R. Macaya, and this is Tchr. Algie T. Maigi, saying good day and God speed!
