BEL’s Software Division was established in Bengaluru in 1996. The Software division is certified for CMMI Level 5. The division
applies State-of the-art technology and industry standard process to achieve compliance. The key customers include the Indian
Defence Forces, Para-Military Forces, Election Commission of India, DRDO and other PSUs. The Software Division has a
requirement of following personnel on Permanent Basis.
II ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

candidates will be considered under ‘General’ category, provided they are otherwise meeting all other criteria
stipulated for General Candidates.
v. For Candidates belonging to Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category having minimum 40% disability will
get 10 (ten) years relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to SC/ST/OBC(NCL) mentioned above.
➢ Full time B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Science/ Information Technology from any AICTE approved
institution/University with First Class for GEN/OBC(NCL) candidates &Pass Class for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.
➢ Candidates must possess all years/semesters mark sheets and Degree certificate. (In case of CGPA grading, Conversion certificate to
substantiate the claim shall be attached with the application form. Applications without the conversion certificate will be rejected.)

Post qualification experience:
Candidates must possess minimum 4(Four) years Post Qualification Industrial Experience and should have hands-on experience
in Video Streaming protocols like RTSP,WebRTC etc.,multimedia,image and video processing algorithms & exposure to video
analytics. In addition hands on experience in any of the following areas will be preferable:

i. Candidate applying for the post of Senior Engineer, should possess the requisite number of years hands-on Post
Qualification Industrial Experience as mentioned at (II)Eligibility criteria , Section (d)Job requirement /Post
qualification experience.
ii. The cut of date for deciding the maximum permissible experience (Post-Qualification Experience) shall be
01.11.2021. In order to compute post-qualification work experience the period of work experience starting from
the month immediately succeeding the month of final examination in which candidate acquire the essential
qualification shall be considered.
iii. Research/Teaching experience or/and training acquired will not be considered as relevant experience.
iv. Candidates possessing Industrial experience only need to apply.
v. Candidate should possess Experience certificates/Documents issued by the previous and present employer
clearly indicating period of employment and post held.
vi. Candidates are mandatorily required to enclose a separate write up describing the relevant post
qualification experience gained/held by them.

Please note: Candidates have to compulsorily provide the CGPA conversion to percentage of marks, as per the guidelines
provide by the concerned University. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
Only relevant experience will be considered. The decision of the selection committee, with respect to relevance of experience
will be final. Work experience indicated without supporting documents and the detail write up, will not be
considered.
Candidates are required to comply with the instructions indicated therein. The results of the final selection will be available
on BEL website.
IV PAY&ALLOWANCE
In addition to Basic Pay, other allowances like Dearness allowance, House Rent Allowance, 35% of the Basic Pay as
perquisites, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Group Insurance, Medical facilities, Provident Fund as per the Company's rules
will be part of the remuneration package.
V APPLICATION FEE:
General/ OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates applying for the post of Senior Engineers are required to remit an amount of Rs. 750/-
towards application fee through SB Collect (through online mode or through SBI Branch)
Candidates need to select SBI branch in the payment option and download & print the challan generated through SBI
Collect and deposit the application fee plus applicable bank charges in any SBI Branch. The candidate should ensure to
obtain the seal and signature of the bank official. General /OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates have to mention the “SBI Collect
reference No.” generated after payment, in the Application Form. Payment receipt should be attached along with other
enclosures. Candidates may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting Application Fee
and sending the application. Fee once paid will not be refunded.
VI HOW TO APPLY:

v. A separate write up mentioning the details of the post qualification experience.
vi. Caste / Disability certificate in case of OBC(NCL)/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD (if applicable, strictly in the prescribed
formats, which are available on the BEL website: www.bel-india.in).EWS Certificates for 2019-2020 & 2020-
2021& OBC(NCL) Certificates dated not earlier than 01.10.2021
vii. No Objection Certificate (if applicable) for Candidates working in PSUs/Government/Quasi Government
organizations should submit the application through proper channel or produce No Objection Certificate at the
time of the interview. Such candidates, who are unable to produce NOC at the time of interview, will not be
interviewed.

Decision of BEL in all matters regarding eligibility of the candidate, the stages at which such scrutiny of eligibility is
to be undertaken, qualifications and other eligibility norms will be final and binding on the candidate.
A candidate’s short listing for interview and subsequent processes is strictly provisional. Mere fulfilling the minimum
requirement of qualification and experience will not vest any right on the candidates to be called for the selection
process/ interview.
BEL reserves the right to change (cancel / modify / add) any of the criteria, method of selection, number of posts;
indicated above based on the actual requirement at the time of selection.
