Factors and multiples are related.
The product of two numbers is the multiple of both the numbers.
Eg: 3 x 5 = 15

Factor Factor Multiple

15 is a multiple of 3 and 5
3 and 5 are factors of 15

Common Multiples:
When we have to find the common multiples of two or more numbers, some numbers appear
in all the lists of multiples, they are called Common multiples of the given numbers.

Eg: Find the common multiples of 2 and 3

Multiples of 2 are: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, .....
Multiples of 3 are: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, .......

Common multiples of 2 and 3 are:

6, 12, 18 ......
Ex no : 6B
