Lesson Plan-03

Duration:- 1 hour

Theme:- Multilingualism
Specific Objectives:-

 To create an understanding about the different languages used in


different states.

 To know leaners understanding of linguistic diversity.

 To enable learners to reflect on their daily life experiences and to


make them open to new ideas.

Teaching Learning Material:- Flashcards, worksheet, Chart, and audio


notes.

Introduction

Duration:- 5 minutes

I will greet learners and do a recap of the activities that we have done in
previous class. Then I will tell them about the activities of the day and
proceed with them.

Activity- 01

Name of activity:- Indian Languages

Duration:- 20 minutes

Material required:- flashcards

Description of activity:- For this activity, I have prepared flashcards on


which I have included the information regarding the different languages
spoken in India. With this learners will be able to build understanding
about the linguistic diversity and will also build knowledge about
languages spoken in different states. After sending the flashcards with
some time gap I will ask learners to read the information. I will also be
sending the audio notes with each flashcards to explain the information
provided on that for better understanding of students.

Activity- 02

Name of activity:- Puzzle

Duration:- 20 minutes

Source:- NCERT

Material required:- Chart

Description of activity:- In this activity, I will send the charts of puzzle.


In this learners have to read the information provided and then have to
solve the puzzle with it's help. Some clues are provided to guide and
help the students to solve it and first letter of every word is also written
in crossword grid to provide a hint to students. After sending the chaet, I
will explain the activity with help of an audio note.

Activity- 03

Name of activity:- Let's do this!

Duration:- 20 minutes

Material required:- worksheet

Description of activity:- For this activity, I will send a worksheet to


students in which some self reflecting questions are included. After
providing the worksheet, I will explain all the questions to students with
the help of an audio note to give them more clear understanding.
Questions in worksheet are like-

 From which state do you belong to?

 Write some lines about the state where you want to visit and why?,
etc.

 To create an understanding about sense organs and their senses.

 To make learners familiar about visual impairment and needs of


visually impaired people.

Teaching Learning Material:- Puzzle, audio notes, chart, pictures, and


worksheet.

Introduction

Duration:- 5 minutes
I will greet students and do a recap of previous class to generate their
ideas and schemas. Then I will introduce my activities of the day to
them.

Activity- 01

Name of activity:- सुनीता क मदद कर

Duration:- 15 minutes

Material required:- puzzle

Description of activity:- In this activity, I will send a picture to students


on which there will be a puzzle in which students will have to find the
way for Sunita who is a physically impaired girl to shop. I will send the
puzzle and after that explain it to them through an audio recording.

Activity- 02

Name of activity:- ान

Duration:- 20 minutes

Material required:- worksheet

Description of activity:- For this activity, I will send a worksheet on sense


organs with which learners will be able to analyse their understanding
about functions of each sense organ and will also build their schemas
regarding it. In worksheet, in first question stidents have to match the
sense organ with it's function. And in second questions they have to
identify which sense organ is used for which purpose and fill it in the
blank. I will explain these questions to students with an audio note.

Activity- 03

Name of activity:- छू कर दे ख

Duration:- 20 minutes

Material required:- Chart of story

Description of activity:- For this activity, I will send a chart of story-


"छू कर दे ख" that I have taken from ncert EVS textbook. This story is
about a boy named Ravi who is visually impaired but he has find ways
to do his own things and one cannot easily identify his impairment as he
is able to do all his work like other people with no disability. After
sending the chart, I will ask students to read it and I will also explain
and guide them with an audio recording. I will provide 10 minutes to
them to read it and then I will ask them some questions-

 र व भैया बना दे खे कई सारी बात कैसे जान जाते ह?


 हम उन लोग क मदद कैसे कर सकते ह जो क दे ख नह सकते ह?

Introduction

Duration:- At first I will greet learners and then I will ask them about
what we did in the last class. I will wait for 2-3 minutes then, I will
myself give a recap of last class and then proceed with the activities.
Activity- 01

Name of activity:- आओ ल
े के बारे म जान

Duration:- 20 minutes

Material required:- Chart+ audio note

Description of activity:- For this activity, first I will send an audio note in
which I will tell students about the script used by visually impaired
people then a chart will be shared with them on which more
information related to Braille and its invention has been given. It will
help in building the knowledge of students of Braille script. After sending
the chart I will ask learners to read the information on it and for all this I
will be guiding them with the texts.

Activity- 02

Name of activity:- मेरी समझ से

Duration:- 20 minutes

Material required:- worksheet

Description of activity:- For this activity, I will send a worksheet in


which I have included a opposite word question from abhyas pustika
and one ther question is prepared by me which requires self reflection
and experience to answer it. After sending the worksheet, I will explain it
through an audio note. Question requiring self reflection is-
 य द आपका कोई र व भैया जैसा दो त हो तो आप उसक या- या सहायता
और कैसे करते? 3-4 लाइन म बताइए।

Activity- 03

Name of activity:- Impairments and their Aids

Duration:- 15 minutes

Source:- self prepared

Material required:- video

Description of activity:- For this activity, I will send a self prepared video
with which learners will be able to create an understanding about the
different types of impairment and the aids required for the people with
that impairments. I will guide students to watch it by sending text with
the link of video and also explain details with an audio note.
