Good evening everyone, Miss Cortez and I, are here to present this activity

outline, with our chosen topic, Domestic Violence.

For the first part, we have here the introduction. What is Domestic Violence? It is
a form of abuse that can cause victims to feel isolation, fear and distrust, wherein
it may lead to life long consequences, especially for the victims such as having
trouble forming and maintaining relationships, low-self esteem and educational
difficulties. Our thesis statement here is_read_ it can happen to men or women of
all different ages. All of which needs to be spoken about since it leaves a
long-lasting effect growing up.

Next up, would be the 1st topic sentence to be presented by Ms. Cortez

Another topic sentence would be for those family members whose choice of
words significantly affect one’s mental health. In a family, problems like constant
arguments are inevitable among family members, and it can bring out the worst in
them. That being said, the supporting ideas would be those family members who
like to:

A. Projecting their insecurities upon you and saying it’s for your own good
when it’s Not
B. this is where they vent out things that you have no idea about and
sometimes don’t matter. they you as their ‘Emotional punching bag’ wherein it
appears to be a constant reminder that you are and feel like a burden in the family
C. Judge you when they see things opposing their beliefs. This is common
among grown-ups. There are instances where they think they already know you
more than you do.

Added conclusion:

With all these, I believe domestic violence is a serious matter and it needs to be
addressed. Seek for help, ask for assistance on programs like PNP Women and
Children Protection Center.

Why have you chosen this topic?
To spread awareness. Domestic Violence is a matter that needs to be spoken
about. Since for me, I have seen these abuses growing up. I think it’s important to
show empathy for the victims of these abuses so that they wouldn’t blame
themselves and think that this is normal when is not.

Out of all, which is the one you put your heart into?
A child being neglected po, for me, I do not blame the parents. I blame the
system, imagine if the government would take notice of those pleas of the people
especially the poor who’s part of this society. It’s their job to provide for needs.
for example, Education, An access to quality of life to everyone would give them
benefits by having opportunity to learn things

Why do you think this is important?


because, i myself believe in the saying “sensitivity is strength”. People should
learn the difference between being hurt and being love. Love is good but it also
comes with manipulation and hatred. and I believe even the smallest amount of
which plays a big part in relationships.
