Dear Sir,
Please consider my intent to apply as TLE teacher-Junior High School in your highly
reputed academe. I finished Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Technology and
Livelihood Education at Cagayan State University-Andrews Campus last June 08, 2018. I
acquired my Teaching License last September 30,2018. I also finished my Specialized
Training in Basic Computer Operation (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point and
Internet Application), and gained one (1) NC II; NC II in Electronic Products Assembly
and Servicing at TESDA TRC Region 2.
I worked as a Teacher at Maranatha Christian Academy of Tuguegarao Inc. (MCA) for
one school year (2019-2021). I was assigned as Teacher of Grade 1 learners. A year of
teaching in this academe brought me much of learnings especially in handling the
different characteristics of a learner, giving instruction, supervision and assessment. The
seasoned teachers in MCA even the Administrator of the school teach me how to handle a
various situation related to classroom management, school matters such as dealing with
parents/guardians of the learner as well as working on school activities. Teaching doesn’t
only require knowledge from a teacher but also skills, repertoire of strategies to fit with
the needs of the diverse learners and also with the never-ending patience which is needed
to deal with the adversities of teaching. Thus, my learning experience have honed me to
become the person who I am today.
In a short period staying at MCA, I was able to develop my communication skills and
pedagogy and I believe that it helped to be more prepared to a greater challenge which is
to finally embrace the job of being full-time educator. Given my sample training in MCA,
I am confident to face, conquer and ready to do the responsibilities of a teacher. I believe
that your school would be able to enhance more my capabilities and abilities in my
chosen field of specialization, give me an opportunity to develop myself professionally.
It will be a great privilege for me if you will give me the chance to discuss my skills and
experience to serve your dignified school.
And also, I would like to extent my application as a elementary teacher if I will pass the
standard for the application and if there is a vacancy.
