Gaming is a widely known activity that has conquered every age, It is one of the possible reasons of
satisfaction in terms of excitement, intensity, and many other reasons. Gaming can undoubtedly affect a
lot of people in terms of emotion, thinking, Technical skills, and other aspects of life. Hardware, on the
other hand, is essential when it comes to gaming because computer hardware is what makes a game
run. Internal components include items such as the motherboard, central processing unit (CPU),
random-access memory (RAM), hard drive, optical drive, heat sink, power supply, transistors, chips,
graphics processing unit (GPU), network interface card (NIC) and Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports. These
components collectively process or store the instructions delivered by the program or operating system
(OS).

Statement of the Problem
This study aims to determine if gaming proficiency interconnects to students being proficient in
technical hardware.
Scope and Delimitation
This research will be conducted at University of Caloocan City. The study will only cover a limited
number of 30 students that are currently enrolled as BSCS at University of Caloocan City. The study will
not cover students that are not enrolled in University of Caloocan City. And the study will not also cover
