STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Inventions, Innovations, and Transformations are the different facets of technology through
which the world keeps itself upgraded and technology has been alloyed in such how in our
lives, that the trendy world while not it'd appear incomplete. This fascination grew up and
that I ended up taking the Bachelor of Technology in civil engineering at Vignana Bharathi
Institute of Technology affiliated to JAWAHARLAL NEHRU INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY,
HYDERABAD. Although I have already done my B.tech in civil engineering, I and my
mentors have perpetually felt that i'm created for additional and may prove myself further
as a researcher in the field of Civil Engineering, with a significant in construction
management if i'm given a favorable opportunity to study in your intellective air.
I have completed my Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Loyola High School in 2015
affiliated to the Board of Secondary School Education, telangana with an aggregate of 7.0
CGPA and completed my diploma from Government Polytechnic college Nalgonda in May
2018 with 62.28(CGPA) and with a keen interest I did my Bachelors of technology from
Vignana Bharathi institute of technology (JNTUH) in the July 2021 awarded with First class
and I was awarded the student of the year award in 2016 for excellence in academics and
extracurricular activities. My participation in dramatics and quiz competitions paved the
way for my successful graduate program experience as I indulged in various aspects of
college life.
As I even have joined the reputed JNTUH, I even have taken up important subjects like
Electives that I even have taken are Construction Technology and Management, Railway and
Airport Engineering, Advanced Structural Analysis, Bridge Engineering, and Transportation
Engineering. My innateinterest in civil engineering drove me to choose my final year
project on “EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON PAPERCRETE”.A detailed investigation on
papercrete specimen of size 150×150×150 mm made with different ingredients like sand,
fly ash and glass fiber was carried out after 28 days of air curing. Papercrete is a new
construction material made with waste paper, cement and water. Papercrete had been used
to build low cost homes without much knowledge of its structural properties. The purpose
of this study is to obtain compressive strength and mass density of papercrete by doing
some trial mixes of papercrete with different ingredients. From this study it has been
observed that the papercrete is a lightweight material and it can be used as an infill
material in high rise buildings.

I have done my internship with HERE TECHNOLOGIES as map editor. I spent eight months
of professional hands-on internship under HERE TECHNOLOGIES, one of the leading
location and mapping platform all over the world The company leverage its operations in
Automotive, public & infrastructure, Transportation & logistics and Urban Mobility. We find
every day a new construction work being commencing in the country. Here maps majorly
focus to update the geo physical features over the locality. It inculcated a knowledgeable
and sensible exposure in me over geo physical features and managing the effective map
information. I had a hands-on working experience with the here map which allowed me to
update comprehensive map content and in-built development tools aided me to solve
complex location-based problems. Aside from that, I managed to solve issues related to
parking and traffic with accurate location intelligence of the platform. The take away from
the project was to manage and implant accurate map edits which enabled me to build
Quality Assurance & Quality Control skills. I have good amount of experience in all kinds of
editing in map creator and they also awarded me as MAP EXPECT for my excellent work
within a short span of time (May- January 2021). In addition to this, I have embarked on
many supplementary courses and certifications to develop my professional capability.
Architectural Plan with Google Sketchup, a workshop on interior planning, AutoCAD and
one on 3D model rendering have made me competent enough to use these tools in a
professional setting. I have also taught myself the foundations of Python programming
through books and YouTube videos.
My enthusiasm coupled with scope for innovations and opportunities in civil engineering
has motivated me to opt for higher studies and contribute to the field through meaningful
research. At this point my academic career, I realize that my undergraduate education has
provided me with what is only a glimpse of this and so much more is waiting to be explored
and created in this industry. I’m convinced that my academic career will receive the much-
required exposure and enhancement enabling me to pursue extensive research and excel it.
My choice of this specialization is motivated by its multi-disciplinary nature, which will
broaden my horizons and give me flexibility in professional practice. My undergraduate
curriculum has enabled me to clear my fundamentals, and currently I feel the requirement
to pursue refinement to the attained knowledge through a Master’s course. The fast-
emerging global scenario in the section of civil engineering and therefore the makeover of
the standard of education has helped me to fortify my decision to pursue graduate studies
in USA.
As a short-term goal, after completing my under-grads degree, I will be seeking a career
that is challenging and interesting, and let me work on the leading areas of technology.
Eventually, I wish to bag a job that gives me opportunities to learn, innovate and enhance
my skills and strengths in conjunction with company goals and objectives. To achieve high
career growth, a continuous process of learning along with polishing a dynamic personality
is very important. As long-term career goal, I am willing to work as project head (Civil) and
in the reputed construction industry. To become an excellent Civil Engineer, I have to take
up challenging works in the Industrial structure, Building, Cooling Towers etc.
Furthermore, as I involve myself into creative and diversified projects, I can finally pose as
part of a constructive & fast-growing world.

I am engrossed in pursuing masters in your respected institute. Though my under-

graduation coursework taught me how to solve problems, and my professional experience
enabled me to invent new techniques in the construction world and boosted my confidence
in managing different levels of tasks; however, I feel that a master degree is often needed to
expand one’s awareness and broaden my view in the field of construction. I firmly believe,
this is an apt time to pursue my further study in the area of my particular interest and I
strongly believe that my inclination and aspirations find an outstanding match in your
program.
