SOLICITING FOR PLACES FOR STUDENTS INDUSTRIAL WORK EXPERIENCE


SCHEME (S.I.W.E.S)
 

As part of the National policy for Technical Education, National Diploma and NCE Technical & Business Studies must undergo
Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). This scheme is a skill training programme designed to expose and
prepare students for the industrial work situation they are likely to meet after graduation.

In the light of the above, we are soliciting for your co-operation requesting of number of places in your establishment for our
students.
Attached is a form giving you a guide to the various courses offered by this Polytechnic.

Kindly complete the form by indicating the number of students you intend to accept in respect of each programme of study and
return the copy to us through the bearer ABUBAKAR GALADIMA SADIK Matric Number DSD/20/0100 From Department of
Social Development

These students are entitled to monthly allowance of N2,500.00 only; paid by the Industrial Training Fund (ITF). The amount will
cover the total number of students in your establishment for the period of the attachment.

SIWES may commence by 4th FEBRUARY,2022 - 3rd JUNE,2022 For the period of four (4) months.
