E-LEARNING WITH ASSIGNMENT MANAGEMENT

SYSTEM
Nowadays, higher education has become one of the most necessary factors in daily
life. Parents send their children to the best colleges and universities that they can afford to
make sure their children can acquire knowledge and ready for work. One of the first
requirements for recruitment in specialized fields is higher education degrees.

The beginning academic education has been evolving and improving itself using
different techniques and practices. Higher education is consisting of courses, exams and
projects that need to be accomplished to be able to get a bachelor’s or master’s degree. In
modern academic curriculum, the projects are becoming more and more important. Time
limitation is an undeniable issue that people face in daily life and work. Student projects are
not an exception and most of student and supervisors face this issue during the project
progress. Students hardly can manage their time to do their projects and meet their
supervisors.

The objective of this system is to be able to monitor and control the students’
assignment or project progress as the following:
 To increase student and supervisor accessibility and availability.
 To ensure projects are always on-track and on-time by proving project management
and monitoring.
 To facilitate file-sharing (increase accessibility and availability of files) as well as
reducing redundancy through online repository.
 To facilitate communication and collaboration between supervisor and student by use
of collaboration tools.

The main objective of this software is to automate the assignment process of the
student. Using this software a student can perform assignment related work online. This
project will be used by the students of any college at the time of their assigning of assignment
and classes and thereafter. It is designed to manage, assigning of assignment process entirely
online .It is flexible enough to co-operate any changes or enhancements made later within the
application.
E-Learning with Assignment Management System is a web based module that allows
Teachers an Students to communicate with each other about the assignments and other
academic matter easily and rapidly. Students can submit assignments; receive academic
material and the result of the assignment anywhere at any time. Teachers can check
assignments and at only mark them but also leave their marks about the assignment with
come online clicks, and also they will be able to post assignment and notes and other
materials to students at anyplace at any time.

Many Universities and College are adopting this method to increase Teacher-Student
interaction with each other. The main objective of this project is to create a system that will
help in easy interaction between teacher and students in term of academic matter such as
assignment.

Specific objective:
i. Submitted of assignment on time
ii. Easy the process of forming Assignment Groups
iii. To increase the confidentiality of student information such as student assignment
result.
iv. Provision and distribution of academic material such as notes in better ways.
v. Digital marking of Assignment
vi. Reduce paper work.

The main objective of this software is to automate the assignment process of work.
Using this software an employee can perform assignment related work online.  This
Assignment Management system is developed to remove the drawbacks of the existing
system. In this system user don’t need to call a meeting to assign a job to employee. User can
also trace the progress of the assignment online. Using this system company can improve
their work efficiency. This system can also improve the productivity of employees by
completing the work on time.
Modules Used:
There are three main modules in this project
 Admin
 Super user
 General user

ADMIN
Admin can assign the assignments or works to the super users. Here admin is the head
of the department. The admin can create or delete both super user (Staff) and general user
(Student). Admin user has the capability to create a new super user as well as general user
and also delete the super user and general user. Admin can also assign the assignment to the
super user.

SUPER USER
Super user has the capability to assign the assignment to general user. Admin user
assign jobs to super user. Super user can assign work to general users. Super users can add or
delete the assignment assigned to general user.

GENERAL USER
General users can see the details of the assignment assigned to him. After completing
the assignment general user submit the work online and update the status of work online.
