Problem: How do you appreciate the role of spherical mirrors
in daily life?
Step 1: Paste the pictures on A4 size BLUE COLOUR sheet of
any three applications of concave and convex mirror each.
Step 2: Draw Ray diagram for each application to show the
formation of image.

and beverages. Out of them, some have acidic properties, some
show basic properties and some are neutral in nature. Their nature
can be verified by a special kind of substances known as
Indicators.
Create a food rainbow representing the acidic / basic strength
of foods and drinks using the following suggested materials.
(You have option to use other materials also)
Materials
1. Acidic f ood / vegetable (apple, tomato, vinegar, tamarind)
2. Basic (baking soda)
3. Neutral (milk, water)
4. Turmeric, beet root as indicators
(Paste this food rainbow on a LIGHT BLUE coloured pastel
sheet in the order from high acidic, neutral to basic). Also label
and explain briefly each strip of food rainbow.

2. Objective: The overall objective of the project work is to help students gain an insight
and pragmatic understanding of the theme and see all the Social Science disciplines from
interdisciplinary perspective. It should also help in enhancing the life skills of the students.
3.Students are expected to apply the Social Science concepts that they have learnt over the

years in order to prepare the project report. If required, students may use different primary
and secondary resources to prepare the project.
4. If possible, different forms of Art may be integrated in the project work.
5. Use eco-friendly products without incurring too much expenditure.
6. The Project Report should be handwritten by the students themselves on A4 size sheets.

5. Introduction- Purpose and aim of the project

6. Content- Present material/ data/ statistics with related pictures, pie charts, bar

graphs, cartoons, slogans, maps etc. on the left side of the file to make a quality
project.

7. Conclusion- Draw a relevant conclusion by mentioning the learning outcome and


suggestions (if any).
8. Bibliography- Mention name of the book, newspaper, magazine, website, author,
publisher.
