This lesson plan aims to help students visualize ratios through illustrations and real-world examples. The plan involves motivating students with objects, presenting ratios using groups of students, and discussing ratios found in the English alphabet, pictures, and student drawings. Students will then generalize the concept of ratio, apply it to everyday situations, evaluate ratios through illustrations, and be assigned homework practicing additional ratio drawings. The overall goal is for students to appreciate ratios and their use in real life.
