WHAT’S NEW
Process Questions:
1. After reading the poem, what did you feel? Why?
- I was moved; the poem helped me understand what true love is and how we can see a
person's love for us in their actions. Now that I understand the concept of love, I realize that
many people love in ways other than romantically. What does the writer want to tell about the
line “Love is the greatest of all”?
- You can find any kind of happiness in love, and you can do anything through love, even if
others think it's impossible.
2. How would you express affection to your loved ones if you were the author? (You may write a
poem of your own.)

Process Questions:
1. How did you categorized the acceptable and unacceptable teenage relationships?

circumstances, and not only do they respect each other, but also the people around them who
may witness what they are doing. The unacceptable, on the other hand, do the opposite.
2. If you are in that situation how would you react?
- I'd be pleased if the situation I'm in is an acceptable relationship, and disappointed if it's the
other way around..
3. Why do we need to understand the acceptable and unacceptable teen-age relationships?
- Determine whether a particular relationship is beneficial to our well-being..

Activity 1.2 As Appreciation
Giving something to a person dear to you is a sign of appreciation. This is also counted as
expressing affections towards others. The value of an object or thing is measured by its
appreciation than its monetary amount. Now, let us show appreciation to others by giving them
something that is precious to you.
Think at least four (4) objects or things that are very much important to you. Write the name of
each object in a 1/8 sheet together with its recipient. After the given time, the facilitator will
allow you to share your reasons with your selected classmate or if applicable, with the members
of your family.
a. Favorite Bracelet – one of my most treasured things that I posses is the bracelet my
mother made for me. It is one of the things I feel comfortable and makes me unique.
b. Diary – my diary is very important to me for it contains most of my secrets.
c. Books – I treasure my books so much for they are my escape from all the happenings of
my life.
d. Camera – I really love capturing people, sunset, moon, and nice view.
What I Can Do
In the beginning of this module, it is stated that there are many reasons why someone is liking or
loving other people and, there are many ways to express someone’s affection toward others. In
this activity, you are going to express your best way of expressing your attraction love or
showing commitment to someone by
creating a mini poster out of cut-outs from magazines, newspapers or other printed materials.
Your mini poster should be done on a short bond paper and must showcase your ways of
expressing affections to develop a long term-relationship. Write a brief explanation of your work
at the back of your mini poster.
Giving the right amount of everything in a relationship is essential. Trust, love, communication,
support, and so on are all important, but the most important thing is loyalty to your partner. You
must be dedicated and devoted to your partner. Furthermore, if you commit to someone, you
must commit to marrying them.
Additional Activities
“Reasons of Attraction”
The following components of attractions are the reasons of someone in liking others. Based on
you own characteristics and understanding of yourself, how do you usually get easily attracted to
someone? Arrange the components of attraction by putting numbers 1 to 4, 1 will be your most
common and usual reasons you got attracted and explain your reasons. Write your answers in a
separate sheet.
Components of attraction Rank Reason
Physical attractiveness 4 Physical appearance doesn’t
bother me much. I focus more
on the inner beauty of a
person, because that’s where I
know whether he will treat
me good or no good
Proximity 3 Proximity doesn’t really
bother me, because if I am
truly in love or serious with
someone, I can stay loyal to
him, even though we don’t
interact much.
Reciprocity 1 I wouldn’t want a man who
doesn’t love me the way I do
for him, because eventually
he will just find someone and
end up breaking me.
Similarities 2 I wouldn’t want a relationship
full of arguments just because
we don’t have similar
taste/POV on everything.

Guide Questions
e. Why did you chose the values you have given above?
- These values play a significant role in keeping the relationship healthy and strong; without them,
the relationship would quickly disintegrate.
f. How can these values help one person become responsible in a relationship?
- If we can love in a Christ-like manner, we can love truly and purely. Love does not have to be
returned to us; if we give our love to someone, it makes no difference if it is returned to us,
because true love does not expect anything in return. That is exactly what Jesus did to us.

community group, youth group, club, school organization, neighborhood association, volunteer

Process Questions:
1. After doing the activity, what have you realized?

For me, the three most important characteristics of a leader are responsibility,
empathy, and strategic thinking. The follower should be compliant, cooperative,

I am more of a good follower than a leader; I am unfit to be a leader because I
lack so many qualities that a leader should have.
4. Who influence you most to become a leader or a follower? and how?
There are a few people who have made significant contributions to my
development as a good follower, and they are all from our church's youth
organization. They lectured me and made me realize things like you should listen
to what everyone says but also learn to stand on your own beliefs and decisions,
as well as how to express my opinions, help someone, and cooperate properly
with everyone.

Interpretation This song is about thanking someone, and just hearing it makes
me think of my parents, who always support us in any way they
can. They always meet our needs, no matter how difficult it is for
them to do so. They never questioned our dreams and simply let
us do what we wanted. I am so fortunate and grateful to have this
king of a parent, because not all children are treated the way I
was as a child.
WHAT I CAN DO
- Our family is a conditionally separated family because my older sister and older brother
are both working and studying in a city where my parents and I do not live. They only
return home on special occasions.
