Here are a few ideas to make the summer break more fruitful: Help your child to be an early bird. Let mornings
be the time for the practice of meditation, connection, and introspection.

1. Encourage them to follow a routine that offers time for academics as well allows them to pursue their hobbies
and interests.
2. Bring in the practice of watching age-appropriate and critically-acclaimed movies and reading books
3. Help them develop a new skill/hobby such as learning coding or a foreign language. There's an abundance of
online tutorials to help them ace their interests.
4. Encourage them to raise a kitchen garden by planting seeds, watering them and watching them grow
5.your child about the extended family through fun stories and organize virtual get-togethers to ensure their
happiness and well-being. Spend quality time with your children and impart valuable lessons.
6. Keep a tab on their academic progress and encourage them to reach out to their teachers for additional
support. Ensure that your child consumes a healthy diet consisting of plenty of fluids, seasonal fruits and
vegetables.

Project on Disaster Management

Guidelines for Disaster Management Project- Subject Enrichment Activity- 5 Marks

It is mandatory to do a Disaster Management project for class 9 students every year.
According to CBSE, students studying in class IX have to submit a handwritten project on Disaster
Management.
The topic may be on Natural Disaster or Man Made Disaster.
The purpose of giving this Disaster Management project to class 9 students is to make them
prepared for any disaster.
Further, they can also spread awareness to the mass about the precautions to be taken at the time of
National/Local Disasters.

Things to be kept in mind while doing the project:

USE A-4 size file paper (one side ruled)
Project must be handwritten. (use blue or black ink)
The cover page must be designed by the student which should reflect the topic.
Topic of the project, Name, Class and sec, Roll no. must be written on the cover page in bold letters.
Use bottom space for your Name, Class and sec, Roll no.
The project work should not be of less than 12 pages (including the cover page)
Be ready for Viva or a written assignment based on your project.
Utilize summer vacation time to complete your project.
Do not use plastic covers.
Submit your project by 20th June 2022 positively.
