INSTALLATION
1. Turn your PC off including peripheral devices. 2. Check installation diagrams 1, 2 & 3. 3. Open the battery compartment on your remote control and insert 2 AAA batteries. Close the battery compartment. 4. After making the connections that you wish to use, if you want to use TV mode, all you need to do is turn your PC monitor on. Once you select PC mode, you will need to power your PC on. 5. If your installation is correct, you will see the red indicator light (LED) illuminate and your monitor will display PC or TV. If this does not occur, check your installation making sure it looks like in gure.

FUNCTIONS AVAILABLE ONLY IN TV MODE

1. Press the SOURCE button in order to select the input you wish to display on your PC monitor. Pressing this button goes through the 4 available options cyclically.
AIR TV CATV S-VIDEO VIDEO

a) Select TV in order to watch TV from your VHF/UHF antenna. The F connector on your adaptor, signaled as CABLE IN, should be connected to your VHF/UHF antenna. b) Select CATV in order to watch cable TV. The F connector on your adaptor, signaled as CABLE IN, should be connected to your cable TV system. c) Select S-Video in order to watch programs from your S-Video source. (XBOX, video camera, etc.) d) Select Video in order to watch programs from your video source. (RCA cables) (Playstation, DVD, etc.) 2. In TV mode, you can also use the remote control in order to select the channel, adjust the audio volume, and make certain adjustments with the ADJ button. a) Pressing the ADJ button will display a 9 option menu on your monitor. You will be able to select on of these options and press the arrow buttons on the bottom of your remote control to adjust. You can conrm the changes with the OK button.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
1. No color a) The connection may not be correct, please check your connection against the diagram. b) Check the connection to the power source. c) Make sure that the selected mode is the same as the input signal and execute the auto-search function again. (For example: In TV mode, the F connector should be connected to the VHF/UHF antenna and in CATV mode the F connector should be connected to the CATV system) 2. No sound The connection may not be correct, please check your connection against the diagram. 3. The unit does not respond while using the remote control a) Make sure that you are pointing the remote control at the remote control sensor on the main unit while being no more than 6 m away at a 15 angle. b) Check the batteries in the remote control and replace them if necessary. 4. Input outside of range or no signal in the port When these words appear on the screen (or a variation), follow these steps: Step 1: The xed current of the vertical frequency exploration on the LCD screen may be out of display range. Please adjust the vertical frequency exploration of your LCD screen in the following way: Resolution 640 x 480 + vertical frequency: 60 Hz+ horizontal frequency 31.5 kHz Step 2: If you have not xed the problem after following step 1 and your LCD monitor has multiple input ports, set the input port on analog VGA mode. The standard VGA signal for COM-250 is identical to the general VGA PC card. Because of this, this unit will not void the warranty on your LCD or CRT monitor.

INSTALACION
1. Apague su PC, incluyendo los dispositivos perifricos. 2. Revise los diagramas de instalacin 1, 2 y 3. 3. Abra la cubierta del control remoto e inserte las pilas (2xAAA) y vuelva a colocar la cubierta 4. FUNCIONES EN MODO DE TV
1. Presione el botn SOURCE para seleccionar los programas de entrada que usted quiere desplegar en el monitor. Estas son 4 selecciones cclicas con solo oprimir el botn.

El conector F de su COM-250 marcado como CABLE -IN debe ser conectado al sistema de CATV c) Seleccionar S-Video para ver programas de la fuente de S-Vdeo, como XBOX o videocmaras. d) Seleccionar Vdeo para ver programas de la fuente de vdeo como Play Station, reproductor de DVD, etc. 2. Bajo el modo de TV, usted puede tambin usar el control remoto para seleccionar el canal deseado, ajustar el volumen de audio y hacer algunos ajustes bajo el botn ADJ a) Presionar el botn ADJ este desplegar en el monitor un men de 9 partidas para seleccionar, usted puede seleccionar una de estas y ajustar por medio de las echas hacia abajo y hacia arriba hasta el valor deseado, entonces conrme con el botn de OK

GUA DE SOLUCIN DE FALLAS

1. No hay color: a) La conexin puede no estar correcta, por favor compare la conexin con la ilustracin. b) Revise la conexin de la energa y el suministro del voltaje. c) Asegrese que el modo seleccionado es el mismo que el de la entrada de seal y ejecute la auto exploracin de nuevo. (Por ejemplo: bajo el modo AIR TV, el conector F debe estar conectado con la antena UHF/VHF. Bajo el modo CATV, el conector F debe estar conectado con el sistema de CATV) 2. No hay Sonido La conexin puede no estar correcta, por favor compare la conexin con la ilustracin. 3. COM-250 no responde mientras se utiliza el control remoto a) Asegrese que esta usted apuntando a la ventana del sensor infrarrojo del COM-250 con un mximo de 6 metros y un ngulo de 15 grados b) Por favor revise las bateras y reemplace con nuevas si es necesario. 4. Entrada Fuera de Rango o No hay seal en el puerto Cuando estas palabras aparecen en la pantalla, trate de la siguiente forma: Paso 1. La corriente de jacin de la exploracin de frecuencia vertical de la pantalla LCD puede estar fuera del rango desplegado, por favor ajuste la exploracin de frecuencia vertical del monitor LCD de la siguiente manera: Resolucin 640 x 480 + frecuencia vertical: 60Hz+ Frecuencia Horizontal 31,5Hz Paso 2: Si usted no resuelve este problema despus de nalizar el primer paso y tambin su monitor de LCD tiene mltiples puertos de entradas, por favor je el puerto de entrada en el modo anlogo del VGA.

ESTA PLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS: 1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales. 2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso. 3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por Electrnica Steren S.A. de C.V. El consumidor podr solicitar que se haga efectiva la garanta ante la propia casa comercial donde adquiri el producto. Si la presente garanta se extraviara, el consumidor puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le expida otra pliza de garanta, previa presentacin de la nota de compra o factura respectiva.
