II. RATIONALE
The youth is one of the most active sectors in society. Activities and programs for their
welfare must be initiated for them to have active participation in the community. Conducting a sports
development program for the youth is an avenue for them to explore their personalities, widen their
network, and exhibit their talents. The youth will also have a sense of belongingness in the
community.
Different sub-activities will be conducted to cater for the different skills and talents of the
participants.

III. OBJECTIVES
The Youth Development Program aims to
1. Encourage the youth to participate in the different activities in the Municipality.
2. Enable the youth to explore their skills and talents.
3. Provide an avenue for the youth to recreate.
4. Widen the network of youth in Municipality of Ipil.

IV. METHODOLOGY
The Youth Development Program will have different sub-activities which will be led by the
Tourism Office under the supervision and mentorship of the Local Government Unit of Ipil. The
Youth Development Program will run from July 8-26, 2022. Participants will come from the different
Barangays in the Municipality of Ipil. Activities will include actual games, contests and
demonstrations. The said activities will be highlighted in the celebration of the 73 rd Araw ng Ipil in
which different barangay youth organization are encouraged to participate. Thus, certain funding
requirements in line with accounting & COA guidelines are expected to support the different
competitions
