Case 1
Be considerate. Rhea’s teacher can do a home visitation to have evidence and confirm her
situation. The teacher can also talk to the parent, explain the rules of the school, and their
consequences, and find a solution for Rhea’s situation.
Case 2
Be patience. Even though Marcus’ actions are disrespectful to the teacher, the teacher shouldn’t
embarrass Marcus publicly. To reinforce positive discipline, the teacher should just give Marcus
a warning during the class and talk to him after the class in the guidance office with a guidance
coordinator. Discuss to Marcus what he did wrong, the effects of being disrespectful to his
teacher (his classmates might do the same), and the sanction of misbehaving inside the
classroom. Observe Marcus behavior and if there is no chance, the teacher should call the
attention of Marcus parents.
Case 3
Be observant and investigate. The teacher always calls Clark to answer, but Clark can’t because
of his condition. Clark’s teacher can rephrase the question; give him time to answer; the teacher
can also give some clue or hint to Clark to at least motivate Clark to answer then give a word of
encouragement once Clark answer. As the teacher observes his behavior, the teacher can talk to
Clark, and ask him how he feels and if he has confusion/clarification on the lesson.
Case 4
Motivate your learner. Elna mention that she intentionally missed going to school because she
will not go far after 2nd year of high school. Talk to Elna with her parents, give a remedial to Elna
for the missed activities and include her to some career talk that can give excitement feeling for
her future.
Case 5
Know your learners. The teacher should talk Kurt with a guidance counselor to help her observe
Kurt then call the attention of Kurt’s parents and tell them that Kurt adores his father’s
toughness. Discuss the school regulation/law and its sanction. The teacher can also change the
environment of Kurt by including him in the most behave and disciplined section/group of
people.
Case 6
Look for alternatives. Janelle’s teacher can give extra time to her teaching and explaining the
platforms that need to use in online learning. If Janelle has no internet or resources for the online
