How Globalized Is Your Home

The document describes a class activity where students make a list of items in their home and note whether each item is made in the Philippines, is a foreign brand, or comes from a foreign country. Students then discuss why some products are made locally while others are imported, with the discussion noting that Filipinos have a reputation for hard work so international companies have factories in the Philippines, while some items rely on materials not available domestically so must be sourced from other countries.

1. After the inventory, discuss why certain products are made in the Philippines,  while
others are produced abroad. – Because us Filipino are known as hardworking and diligence
to our works that’s why many international companies build factories in our country and also
we are rich in resources and materials that are widely available here. The same to other
products that produced abroad that they have the raw materials needed that is not available
here in our country that’s why we trade and export things in other country that we don’t have.
