Invitation Template CSO Accreditation
Greetings of peace!
The Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) recognizes the importance of
establishing networks and institutionalizing the setting up of democratic safe spaces for civil society
organizations (CSOs) to participate in peacebuilding and good governance. Further, the agency believes that
working closely with the CSOs will allow a deep understanding of local situations, as well as ensure that
programs and projects are based on the current contexts and dynamics on the ground.
For 2021, we shall intensify our social healing and peacebuilding efforts, especially in conflict-affected
communities and be more deliberate in our efforts to mobilize and facilitate people’s active participation in
the peace process. In line with this, grassroots CSOs by shall be encouraged to apply for accreditation to be
qualified implementers of OPAPP projects and programs. For this purpose, the amended CSO Accreditation
Guidelines shall be disseminated and CSOs shall be assisted in undertaking the accreditation process.
In furtherance of inclusive and participatory governance, the General Appropriations Act of 2017, including
the succeeding statutes thereafter, provided for a section which lays down the necessary conditions for
government agencies to establish partnerships with CSOs, allowing them to apply as implementers or
become beneficiaries of government programs or projects.
In this regard, our agency is cordially inviting CSOs to apply for accreditation under OPAPP to become
eligible as implementers of OPAPP’s programs, projects or activities. Partner CSOs may access the CSO
accreditation guidelines which detail the documentary requirements, along with the templates to be filled-
out through this link: here . Interested applicant CSOs shall submit the requirements along with a letter of
application addressed to the following:
