in a circle of radius 380m at a speed of 13.2 kts. Calculate the angle of heel
produces. (Nov-17)

Q.3 A box shaped vessel 200m x 30m is floating at an even keel draught of 8m. It
has a midship tank 40m long extending for the full width of the vessel. Below this
tank is a 3m high double bottom tank. The DB tank is empty. The main tank above
DB tank contains oil R.D 00.8 to a sounding of 15m. The KG of the vessel is 7.5m.
Find the new draughts F & A and vessel’s GMT after this tank carrying oil is bilged
