What is rebalancing?
Rebalancing is the process of reviewing and updating the ETFs, stocks & weights of a
smallcase to ensure that it remains true to the idea it was built on. Rebalancing takes
into account fundamental factors, company updates, etc to objectively narrow down
on the right set of stocks.

With every rebalance, one of the following changes are made:

• Stocks that no longer fit the criteria may be removed


• New stocks that fit the criteria may be added
• Weights of the stocks/ETFs may be changed based on the criteria

Why is rebalancing necessary?


Rebalancing ensures that ETFs, stocks & weights in the smallcase continues to reflect
the underlying theme/model.
