C. Essay.

1. Discuss how the socio-cultural factors affect sports/physical activities.

- Every sports/ Physical Activities has a set of standards which are strictly to be
followed. In connection with that, many people/athletes are not capable of joining
because they are not eligible or they did not reach the standard. Everyone gets older
which may affect their skills and as they get older their skills might fade and they
may experience a decrease in flexibility and strength. Also, there are sports that are
only for women but not suitable for men and vice versa. This may result in gender
inequality that can cause discriminatio, low self-esteem and lack of encouragement.
Especially if you have a disability, there are many people who don't want them to
join because they can affect the game and they can face some challenges. While it's
vital to avoid judging things about people based on their social conditions, being
aware of how social factors affect people might help them engage in more sport and
physical exercise. Understanding creates empathy, resolves injustice, and
encourages inclusion.
2. Explain the relationship of sports and society.
- Socialization is the process by which people become active members of society and

SEA Games in which different countries are involved so this SEA games is the way
where we can create good connections or friendships with other countries. Social
mobility and inequality can be encouraged by sport.
3. Discuss the history of sports.
- Even though it's impossible to be certain, it's generally accepted that boxing and
wrestling were the original sports ever practiced. Running competitions would have
been among the first sports practiced. Running is a simple mode of human
transportation. There was only one event a footrace at the first ancient Olympic
Games that have been identified, in 760 BC. Later Games featured additional
competitions like boxing, equestrian, wrestling, discus, javelin, and leaping. It was
also believed at the time that wrestling was the sole sport described in the Bible.
