AMONG US TOURNAMENT RULES

General
The Intramurals Participant Handbook will govern all aspects of play not considered playing rules of the
sport. Participants are expected to follow the Handbook rules of conduct as well as the sport-specific
rules outlined below. The Handbook is available at und.edu/intramurals. Key Handbook items include:

Schedules
Schedules for league play are posted online through wellnessregistration.und.edu.

Facility
All games will be played at the Wellness Center Esports Nexus, or at remote locations.

Rules
• The winner will be selected based on a points system.
• The first person to reach 50 points will win.
• This number is subject to change depending on tournament participation.
Scoring
• For crewmates, these actions can gain or lose you points:
o Winning gains 3 points
o Losing gives 0 points
o Voting correctly gains 1 point
o Voting incorrectly loses you 1 point
o Abstaining from voting gains 0
• For impostors, these actions can gain you points:
o Winning gains 5 points
o Killing a crewmate gains 1 point
o Losing gains 0 points
The Game
• The in-game setting we will be using are as follows:
o 1 impostor for up to 5 crew members and 2 for any amount up to 8 crew members
o 5 short tasks and 1 long task
o 1 emergency meeting per player
o 30 seconds of discussion time and 30 seconds of voting time
o 0.75 crew member vision and 1.5 impostor vision
o Short kill distance
o 1.25 movement speed on small maps and 1.5 on larger maps
o 20 second kill cooldown
Penalties
• Bad manner: Players who excessively BM or have poor sportsmanship as determined by
Wellness staff will receive a warning.
o This includes behavior towards other players or Nexus staff.
o This also includes trolling or intentionally throwing the game, and excessive
profanity/rage.
o Another instance beyond that warning will result in removal from the tournament.
• Any instance of cheating will result in an immediate removal from the tournament. Cheating
includes but is not limited to:
o Teaming
o Using voice or text chat to give hints
o Hacking
o Ghosting
o Stream sniping
o Use of a 3rd party program that gives one player an unfair advantage over another.

Miscellaneous
• All officials’ calls are final!
• Teams must report their own scores by sending the results of their game through the UND
Nexus Discord.
• This must contain a screenshot of the end screen
• Discords may only be populated by the players playing during the games.
• All players must use the UND Nexus Discord.
• Teams that utilize the Nexus must adhere to Nexus policies.
• After each game please try to leave as quickly as possible so that the next teams can get ready.
• Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the Wellness & Health Promotion staff.
