ΩMEGA T900 is a mini Digital USB TV stick that enables you to watch and
record DVB-T TV programs on your desktop PC and Laptop. Full
compatibility with Windows Media Center opens additional
opportunity to use the device in many po rtable applications. The use
of the USB port greatly simplifies the installation.

3 Installation Procedure
This chapter describes how to connect your T900 to your computer and
install all of the available drivers and software.
3.1 Device Driver Installation

Please insert the CD disk that comes with Ωmega T 9 0 0 in the CD-ROM drive
of your computer.

IMPORTANT: Don’t Plug inT900 to your PC before installing the device


driver.
The following driver / software must be installed first before plugging in ΩMEGA
T900 device to your PC

3.2.1 Driver Installation

1. Click “driver Install”.


2. Click “Next” to begin installation.

3. Click “Finish”. to complete the ΩMEGA T900 driver Installation Wizard.


After this step it is recommended to restart the computer.

3.2.2 BlazeVideo HDTV Software installation


ΩMEGA T900 is provided with advanced PVR software, Blaze HDTV PLAYER
6.0 which allows you to watch TV and record the favorite TV programs and
movies. Alternatively you can use any other software provided with your
computer, e.g. Windows Media Center, or other available and compatible.

In order to install the software, run the autorun file and follow the
instructions below.

1. Choose your language and click

“confirm”

2. Click “Next”.

to click “Next” to continue with
the installation procedure.

4 Tick “Launch Blazevideo HDTV


6.0”, then click “Finish”

5. Fill in all info accordingly to the


serial number provided together
with the product, then click
“Register” to run Blazevideo HDTV.

After restarting your PC, you


will see the Blazevideo HDTV
application icon on your
desktop.

6. Connect your T900 Device to your PC. PC will recognize this device
showing one “find new hardware” dialogue box. In case system asks for
restarting the computer you should follow this instruction.
7. Next double click “Blazevideo” icon to run Blazevideo HDTV player, and
scan channel to watch TV on you PC.

6. Troubleshooting:
- No or weak signal –> try to check different antenna settings in order to optimize
the reception. Sometimes the solution is to place the antenna close to the
nearest window. In case it doesn’t help please use external antenna with higher
gain/ amplification and direct the antenna according to the transmitter’s
location and signal’s coverage in your area. You can check the DVB-T signal’s
coverage and transmitters location by visiting this web page

- Problems with driver’s installation – on some systems with Windows 7 x64 and
Core I7 second gen. the compatibility issues were detected, in order to
eliminate them, please install manually the newest version of the device driver
available on the web page. www.omega-technology.eu or www.platinet.eu
- Problems with BLAZEVIDEO DTV 6.0 software – please refer to the software’s
user manual in order to solve them.
