For the EUT, the client has decided that the performance criteria defined in EN61000-6-1:2007 should
be applied as follows:
The variety and diversity of the apparatus within the scope of this standard makes it difficult to define
precise criteria for the evaluation of the immunity test results.
If, as a result of the application of the tests defined in this standard, the apparatus becomes dangerous
or unsafe, the apparatus shall be deemed to have failed the test.
a) Performance criterion A: The apparatus shall continue to operate as intended during and after the
test. No degradation of performance or loss of function is allowed below a performance level specified
by the manufacturer, when the apparatus is used as intended. The performance level may be replaced
Y
by a permissible loss of performance. If the minimum performance level or the permissible
P
performance loss is not specified by the manufacturer, either of these may be derived from the product
description and documentation and what the user may reasonably expect from the apparatus if used
O
as intended.
C
b) Performance criterion B: The apparatus shall continue to operate as intended after the test. No
degradation of performance or loss of function is allowed below a performance level specified by the
manufacturer, when the apparatus is used as intended. The performance level may be replaced by a
permissible loss of performance. During the test, degradation of performance is however allowed. No
change of actual operating state or stored data is allowed. If the minimum performance level or the
permissible performance loss is not specified by the manufacturer, either of these may be derived from
the product description and documentation and what the user may reasonably expect from the
apparatus if used as intended.

6. CONDUCTED EMISSION
The EUT and connecting equipment was placed on a platform of nominal size, 1m by 1.5m, raised
80cm above the conducting ground plane. The rear of tabletop was located 0.4m to the vertical
conducting plane of 2m by 2m in size. The rear of EUT, including peripherals aligned and flush with
Y
rear of tabletop. All other surfaces of tabletop were at least 80cm from any other grounded conducting
P
surface.
O
I/O cables and AC power cord that were connected to the peripherals were bundled in center. They
C
were folded back and forth forming a bundle 30cm to 40cm long and were hanged at a 40cm height to
the ground plane. Each EUT current-carrying power lead, except the ground(safety) lead, were
individually connected through a AMN to the input power source. All unused 50Ω connectors of the
AMN were resistively terminated in 50Ω when not connected to the measuring equipment.

The Conducted emission has been measured with the EUT in a semi-anechoic chamber.
The EUT was connected to a artificial mains network(AMN) .
An overview sweep with peak detection has been performed.
The measurements have been performed with a quasi-peak detector and an average detector.
The EUT was put into operation at Running mode.
The test receiver was used to measure meter reading levels in CISPR Quasi-Peak mode and Average
mode in 0.15 MHz to 30 MHz width in Detector Bandwidth of 9 kHz at 6 dB level.
For each current-carrying conductor is L1 and L2 in this report(L1 is ground one end, L2 is ground the
other end).

The Radiated emission was measured on the semi-anechoic chamber with a ground plane. The
distance between the antenna and EUT for the frequency of 30MHz to 1000MHz was 10m, and for the
frequency of 1GHz to 6GHz was 3m. Measurements were performed with a quasi-peak detector for the
frequency of 30MHz to 1000MHz.
The measuring antenna height for the frequency of 30MHz to 1000MHz was varied between 1 to 4m
was 10m, and for the frequency of 1GHz to 6GHz was fixed to a height of 1m.
The EUT was rotated a full revolution in order to obtain the maximum value of the emission. The
measurements were performed for both vertical and horizontal antenna polarization.
The test receiver was configured to measure meter reading levels in CISPR Quasi-Peak mode for the
frequency of 30MHz to 1000MHz, and in Peak mode and Average mode in 1 MHz resolution bandwidth
for the frequency of 1GHz to 6GHz.

The electromagnetic field is generated from a computer controlled signal generator. The output power
is amplified and then radiated from broad band Log-Periodic antenna.
At every test frequency the field strength is checked prior to the actual test by placing the field sensor
at the same distance from and in the same relative location to, the field generating antenna, as will be
used by the EUT.

The test for each mode was two polarizations, two antennas and each side of the EUT facing the

If the distance between the antenna and EUT for the frequency of 1GHz to 6GHz was not 3m, apply
the following formula and correct the electric field intensity value.
Where:
Estd = Field Strength at the standard distance.(dBμV/m)
Emeas = Field Strength at the measurement distance. (dBμV/m)
Dmeas = Mesurement Distance (m)
Y
Assume the following situation :
P
・Mesurement Distance was 3.5m
O
・Field Strength(measurement distance) was 30 dBμV/m.
C
The final field strength would be determined as follows :
Estd = 30 + 20log(3/3)
=30 + 0
=30.0 (dBμV/m)
