FCP 7 To Premiere Command Matrix (Sin)
FCP 7 To Premiere Command Matrix (Sin)
TIP The minus key (–), which is slightly wider than the dash (-), will be used to
represent the dash key in any shortcuts that use the dash, like Zoom Out (–)
or Decrease Video Track Height (cmd- –).
The [space] between the [dash] and [option-dash] is only for visual clarity.
If a Premiere command has the same keyboard shortcut as FCP7, then the Command
name and Shortcut will both be listed in white
white text. All other shortcuts unique to
premiere will be listed in gold
gold text.
If a command is listed only for one application but not both, it means there is no
equivalent shortcut in the other app.
However, be advised that a great many useful Premiere Pro commands have
Commands listed with no keyboard shortcuts mapped by default. An empty shortcut
box means you must map your own keystroke to the command.
If you discover that one of your favorite FCP 7 shortcuts is missing, or you discover an
Adobe Premiere shortcut that you think should be added to the list, please e-mail me by
clicking the Steve Kanter hyperlink at the bottom of any page, and I will add it to the list
and email you a revised copy of the Command Matrix.
Happy Editing.
