1. WHAT NEW IDEAS ABOUT MATHEMATICS DID YOU LEARN?

*The new ideas I’ve learned after watching the video lessons is that everything we in
our daily lives has pattern that is present because it has explanation or calculation on
why we are doing that kind of stuffs so it makes sense. I’ve learned that science deals
with the logic of shape which is the math because of quantity and arrangements. I’ve
learned that math is all around us because it is the building block for everything in
our daily lives.

2. WHAT IS ABOUT MATHEMATICS THAT MIGHT HAVE CHANGED YOUR


THOUGHTS ABOUT IT?

*THE changes that happened is my views on mathematics because before the lesson
only I know is math is all about solving numbers solving number problems and ETC,
BUT after the discussion it changed my thoughts because it widened my knowledge
and convince me that math is everywhere which is the pattern that Is present in
everything we do but we cannot notice it because we are busy at many stuffs and we
are too dumb. It changed my thoughts and views because mathematically will be
able to think through many other issues in life, whether numbers are involved or not.
It also uses discipline to form an opinion because it is much better than saying “feel
good” or the emotions and laziness. It also taught me that mathematics at it’s core is
one way to organize our way of thinking.

3. WHAT IS THE MOST USEFUL ABOUT MATHEMATICS HUMANKIND?

*THE most useful about mathematics humankind is because math helps


us all the time, why? Because when you math fractions this can help you
better tell the time. Math helps us have a better problem solving-skills
because with math, we can think analytically and have better reasoning
abilities. Analytically thinking mean the ability to think critically and this
is useful in our course, and reasoning skills are essential as they help us
solve problems. The most useful about mathematics in humankind is
because math is all around us because we live in mathematically driven
world and not knowing math is like walking through an art museum with
closed eyes. Learning math can help you appreciate things in a simple
way.
B. WRITE A 2-3 PAGE SYNTHESIS FOCUSING ON ONE OF THE FOLLOWING
ASPECTS OF MATHEMATICS.

Mathematics helps us organize patterns and regulations in the world


because mathematics will stay in our life forever because it is a part of
our journey. It simply organizes patterns and regularities in the world by
the means of it exist in everything that our eyes see. Our world will not
be formed with the help of mathematics as the source of measuring
something that is existing. In relation to FIBONACCI SEQUENCE which
exist first in the old generation and yet it is still present in our
generation. This is helpful to us because this is very essential by means
of having the perfect measurement in doing such as paintings, pictures
or anything that has something to do with measurement.

Mathematics is nearly characterized the use of difficult proofs and this


practice is the result of literally thousands of years of refinement and
has bought mathematics a clarity and reliability unmatched by any other
science. It is arguably the most disciplined of human intellectual
activities and if you also take a closer look at the patterns of our world,
you will always reveal the beautiful mathematics, it is real because
mathematics is all in our hands.
Mathematics helps us to organize patterns and regularities in the world,
just like how we chose our courses in life because we need
measurement to balance the things. The buildings and architectures that
are built by engineers are with the help of the mathematics through the
organizing of the patterns and regularities. They are sometimes
symmetrical and sometimes asymmetrical depending on how they
wanted it to be. Insurance is ruled by the math because you can predict
accidents,breakdowns, health and almost anything can be calculated
and they use it to offer you insurance and you think is worth it and they
will still make money. Lottery is pure math and some psychology
because if you scratch the numbers and win exactly what you just spent
and most of us don’t count our losses and think we were lucky getting a
new lottery tickets because it’s free. Then math is present because the
mind plays tricks on us.
Mathematics helps predict the behavior of nature and phenomena in
this world because mathematics is more than just a formula and
problems found in academic books, it goes beyond that and it’s both
method to analyze abstract phenomena nature through detected
patterns and regularities. Predicting the size, location and timing of
natural hazards is virtually impossible, but because of the help of
mathematics we are able to forecast calamities such as hurricanes,
floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, wildfires ,and landslides by
using the tool that creates models it corresponds in measuring the
hazards coming.

It gives us way to understand patterns to quantify relationships,and to


predict the future. Math helps us understand the world and we the
world to understand math the world is interconnected, everyday math
shows theses connections and possibilities, and we can put these skills
to practice, the more likely we will remain an innovation society and
economy. Mathematics is also found in signals because if you send signal
and get a return signal, you measure the time from sending to receiving
the signal again.

Finding and understanding this aspects of mathematics is crucial to


mathematical thinking and problem solving and it is easier for us
students to understand patterns and if we know how to organize
information. We can also use this this to infer some of the underlying
principles that govern the world of nature. Its fun and interesting
learning about its aspects and it widened my mind especially about the
patterns where in it is visible regularities of form is found in natural
world and these pattern recur in different context and can sometimes be
modelled mathematically.
