HIRARC - Working at Height

This risk assessment document outlines the hazards and control measures for working at height activities. It identifies risks such as falling from height, exposure to falling objects, and failure of lifting equipment or materials. Standard control measures include cordoning off work areas, using proper personal protective equipment, conducting inspections and training, and designating competent supervisors. Additional control measures are recommended, such as engaging third party consultants, providing daily toolbox talks, and installing hard barricades with railings around floor openings. The residual risk level is lowered from high to medium with the implementation of additional safety controls and responsible persons.
