Dear Hon. Mayor,

Good day, Mr. Mayor!

I am writing to you this letter to humbly request additional three (3) teachers for Senior High School Department.
This request is made due to the following reasons.

1. With the course offerings of the SHS – Academic (HUMSS, STEM and ABM) and TVL (Agricultural
Crops Production, Home Economics-Cosmetology, Home Economics-Culinary Arts, Automotive
Servicing, Electrical Installation and Maintenance and Information Communication Technology) we have
created nine (9) sections per each grade level this school year 2022-2023 from 8 sections per grade level
last school year 2021-2022. It means that we have added two more sections for this school year;
2. Teachers in the SHS Department are now overloaded, in which each teacher should only have a maximum
of 6 teaching loads. However, due to the increasing enrolment and additional sections being created, each
teacher will now cater 6 up to 9 teaching loads with multiple subject preparations that will somehow be an
additional load to the teachers; and
3. Due to the increasing enrolment of the Grade 11 enrolment in the past years which entails 19% increment,
we are expecting an overflowing number of more than 700 SHS students to be catered only by 22 SHS-
hired teachers. In this case, we have already tapped the JHS Department to lend us some 6 teachers
however, still could not suffice the need.

In this matter, together with the humble request of the SHS faculty of Sierra Bullones Technical Vocational High
School, I sincerely ask your kind office to consider us with our request for additional teacher for Senior High
School. We find the above-mentioned reasons as valid considering the overwhelming number of enrollees in this
time of pandemic and the posing challenge of opening the school in face-to-face setting.

We really are hoping for your consideration. The grant of this request will surely be an answered prayer to everyone.
