The Sangguniang Kabataan Council of Mambajao, Camiguin held a meeting on October 13, 2021 where several council members were present. SERIES OF 2021

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SANGGUNIAN KABATAAN CHAIRPERSON FOR THE


APPLICATION OF THE COUNCIL’S TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER AT BUREAU OF INTERNAL
REVENUE – REGIONAL DISTRICT OFFICE 97

WHEREAS, Republic Act 10742 or the SK Reform Act of Republic Act 10742 states that 10% of the general
fund shall be set aside for the SK. The Sangguniang Barangay shall appropriate the SK funds in a lump sum,
which shall be disbursed solely for youth development and empowerment;

WHEREAS, Section 20 (b) of the Republic Act 10742 states that the SK shall have financial independence
in its operations, disbursements and encashment of the funds, income and expenditures.

WHEREAS, as an independent body, the SK Council need have to register for Tax Identification Number
under the Bureau of Internal Revenue for all the taxation the Council is entitled to.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to authorize the Sanggunian Kabataan


Chairperson for the application of the SK Council’s Tax Identification Number at Bureau .f Internal Revenue
– Regional District Office 97.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished the concerned agencies for their
information and reference
