The Sangguniang Barangay of Kiblagon, Malalag, Davao del Sur held a regular session on July 10, 2023. They passed a resolution authorizing the SK Chairperson, Hon. Richard T. Putong, to apply for a Tax Identification Number from the Bureau of Internal Revenue in Digos City for the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kiblagon. This is needed so that the SK can open their own bank account separately from the barangay account, in line with recent reforms providing financial independence for SK funds. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BRGY.SK CHAIRPERSON, HON. RICHARD T. PUTONG


TO APPLY FOR TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (TIN) AT THE BUREAU OF INTERNAL
REVENUE, DIGOS CITY IN THE NAME OF SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN.

WHEREAS, RA 10742 otherwise known as “The Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act” provides for the
financial independency of the Barangay SK Fund.

WHEREAS, there is a need for the Barangay SK to have their own bank account separate from the
account of the barangay.

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan, Kiblagon, Malalag, requires to have Tax Identification Number
(TIN) in the name of the Barangay Kiblagon, Malalag, Davao del Sur-SK as a pre-requisite in opening a
Bank Account.

NOW THEREFOR, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HERBY RESOLVED to authorize the application for


the Tax Identification Number (TIN) of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kiblagon, Malalag,
Davao del Sur at the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Digos City.

RESOLVED, as it is herby RESOLVED to authorize HON. RICHARD T. PUTONG, SK Chairperson of


Barangay Kiblagon to apply for a Tax Identification Number for the Bureau Of Internal Revenue, Digos
City under the name of Barangay Kiblagon, Malalag, SK.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish offices/agencies concern copy of this resolution for their knowledge
and information.

On motion of the Barangay Councilor JONATHAN ELTAGONDE, dully seconded, the foregoing
resolution was unanimously approved.
